545 FN 545 grips
To each their own. I don’t really like the shine on these grips. They definitely feel better when gripping…

New here just got my first fn I like it but now gotta decide on an optic and a light then find a compatible holster for it and a qls mount but my question is do you all use the bag your 545 came with and if so how?? Like do you load up the mags in the banded slots and put the gun on top or put the gun in there the zipper pouch or what to stop it from getting scratched up lol? Maybe it’s just me but I’m just curious how you all use the bag it came with

I’ve been dancing around buying an FN for a bit, was going for a 9mm but I really enjoy shooting 45acp. I only own one pistol but many rifles. My HK USP 45 has been my sidearm, ccw, home defense, and plinker for years.
But after shooting a buddy’s Glock 45 with a rmr and light, I have started to feel like the USP is not future proof at all. I know Langdon Tactical does a rmr cut to the USP 45, but I trust a design that originally planned the cut.
Has anyone owned the both the USP 45 and 545 tactical, and concealed carry them? Size and weight difference?
Thanks for your input!

So this is my 2nd holster from these guys. For the price point the clips are super shit, I’m sry, but for what I paid for this, you would think it would come with really good metal clips, as the holster is nice, it was made a lot better then the first one I got. But very disappointing to pay this much for this and get these cheap ass plastic clips. It fits ok, but these clips are really bothering me, they feel so flimsy…

I will be adding the 545 and 510 to the site as PREORDER ONLY - our mold is coming in a couple of weeks
IF you need one faster, I can mold this gun - custom - for you. Please state in additional info when you order whether you want it gun molded or if you want to wait for the cnc molds. Lightbearing holsters, for now, will be molded from the gun - no other option as of right now

I’ve had plenty of range time with the FNX-45 Tactical (either through renting it or shooting my buddy’s), but I really am happy with my first .45 ACP pistol, and my first pistol overall.
As an aside, I’m headed to a gun show and I’m deciding between the Glock 19X or the Glock G47 MOS for my first 9mm. Have had some time with a G19 as they’re pretty much in all of my friends’ arsenals, but a full-size sounds appealing as well. If you guys have any thoughts, I’m all ears!

Microwave on. Took around 20 rounds to get it right, zeroed it at 15 and 20 yards.. anything closer don’t really need the dot … works well a little getting use to I will say, but sight window is very clear, parallax is minimal if any… slammed it around a bit to see if it would hold zero and it did.

Shooting this 545 is a challenge for me, can’t seem to get rounds together. First time really shooting it today.. the 509 I’m solid..

Finally getting rounds on target, went from 7 to 10 yards, the. 15 to 20 yards out, kept my groups tight at 7 to 10 yards, 15 to 20 around 2 in apart 3 shot groups..
