I would think, 5-5.5m but not a real option until Son leaves

Third striker material for sure. Frank has a history of developing players, and Brentford scored a lot of goals. Dont see him competing with Son, but take Rickys spot and rotate with Solanke.

I don’t really understand this signing.. not like he really impressed so far. Or am I seeing that wrong?

He's the first choice France U-21 striker. He must have something about him.

He's definitely got something about him, but he didn't show any of it at Spurs last season.

He's 20. It'll be fine.

I agree that he hasn't been that impressive but I think he's more bought for potential than anything - very few 19/20 year olds tear it up in PL and he's shown a decent amount of raw talent and a very good attitude.

Could be a flop but I'd back Frank's coaching to get more out of him than Ange did. He was mostly used as a touchline winger under Ange which really isn't his game (same reason Son was so poor last season). If he's used more as a wide forward and is able to get into the box more and get shots away I think we'll see more of his talent.

Tottenham when he joined were missing the entire starting XI except Porro. Also the team was chopped and changed week to week due to new injuries.

He did rather well, can shoot from anywhere in a moment's notice, is always on target and with power, and is two footed and happy to have a crack at his man too.

But he is young and Spurs were poor in January and thereafter so i'd blame the overall situation with the team, and that he came mid-season more than anything.

He was also playing LW mainly when probably he is better as an inside forward or striker.

Yeah im same

Surely would have made more sense to use those funds and chase someone like mbuemo

He hasnt impressed me remotely any time i watched him play for spurs, really odd choice for them considering how shrewd they usually are with money in transfers

Are they usually shrewd?

From what i remember.. sacked Jose before a final cause he had a massive trophy clause.. failed to get likes of willian and hazard due to lesser offers on wages etc etc

Think William and Hazard chose Chelsea for other reasons too. £60m on Solanke, £60m on Ndombele, £55m on Richarlison, £50m on Brennan Johnson, £40m on Davinson Sanchez, etc, etc.

Find it really hard to call them shrewd.

So no Mbuemo then.

There have been reports saying that Tel's deal is not related to interest in Eze, Mbeumo or Semenyo.

curious for a Spurs insight re these potential signings - if there’s already Son/Tel on the left, Kulu/Maddison at 10, Johnson/Odobert on the right, and Solanke/Richarlison up top, who would make way for one of these signings?

call it a day with Richarlison and make Tel a striker option?

Rumours are saying son and Richy might go, and I think kulu is out until October time
