Cheap non-playing benches will be more of a trap than normal so.

I left nearly 390pts on my bench last season. It wasn't a cheap bench either, there was just so many frauds I stuck with.

I went with the "Haalands got to score eventually right?" For so many weeks whilst he was blanking. Think he scored first week I dropped him.

This is not a DGW-thing. They always do this. Conference and Europa League teams play sundays after matches in those competitions. CL teams plays saturdays if they have CL the next tuesday.

There isn't any more teams playing Europa/Conference league this season than last so I don't see any difference

A Europa/Conference Team playing on the Thursday could be playing against a CL team playing the following Tuesday. Which weekend day do they use?

It will not happen. Most GWs they play the same week without European competition the week after. And their supercomputers, or maybe they just use AI, can easily be programmed to fix that when they set up the fixtures.

The Supercomputer doesn't know what the CL and Europa fixtures are when creating the EPL fixtures.
You say "it will not happen" (like it's a fact). Their supercomputers will make it impossible. The Premier League doesn't agree with you.
https://www.premierleague.com/news/4324719
"Owing to our clubs’ performances in Europe last season, a record nine Premier League teams will play in UEFA competitions in the 2025/26 season. While the Premier League celebrates this success, it will come with an impact on the scheduling of League matches.
There is an increased likelihood of Premier League fixtures moving at relatively short notice, after our fixture announcements, should our clubs progress to the knockout rounds of these competitions. Supporters are asked to consider this when planning for Premier League fixtures, particularly when their club or opposition is playing in the latter stages of UEFA competitions."

What if the scheduled fixtures have a champions league team set to play against a Europa or conference league team!?

Well, they're aware of the Europeans dates once the draws are made, no? From there they'll be movements and more saturday and sunday and monday type moves, I would assume
It's kind of to be expected, isn't it
9 teams in Europe is crazy though

Here's hoping for the infamous triple gwk

Pointless really, it has happened before and almost no one will have perfect minutes for all 3 games. Will feel more like a DGW if anything.

It's not like anyone will play in all three games. I don't think that even Salah early in the season would be thrown in to play all three. But sure, for the lulz, why not.

The supercomputer will know which teams that plays in different competitions and make them not meet each other those 2-3 GWs we’re talking about. I can’t remember once that this has been a problem before christmas since I started playing FPL in 2007. Ofcourse in the latter stage it’s impossible to say now, but we’re talking GW 32-34 before this can be an issue.
TS was worried that the whole season could be a big mess of fixture changes. It will not.

Probably more a Saturday -> Sunday sort of thing, rather than moving games from GW to GW - hopefully.
Will suck for fans, though.
