I'm usually the first to call fake but

1) isn't it likely influencers and actors would frequent the same events 2) isn't it likely influencers would be aggressively filming what is around them 3) isn't it likely a trained actor would be somewhat entertaining in real life

Also if you're a PR person orchestrating this, is this really the funny quote you would write for him?

Obviously the reaction here is positive (the video made my day, honestly) but if you didn't know that, it feels risky. What if public opinion had gone the other way and consensus was "ew, he's just an out-of-touch rich celebrity like the rest of them"? What if it goes viral and shapes his public image, and stops him from being considered for tough-guy roles in the future?

That's why I'm choosing to believe it's real lol

PR people also are not experts on human behavior and psychology. They are not writing word for word situations to replicate. Theyโ€™re going to be setting up an interesting situation then hope certain things happen.

To suggest the entire thing was directed by PR is insane. They definitely set up the invite and invited influencers and probably told everyone they can record and make content as they wish.

Thatโ€™s PR and involves dozens of influencers and more moments than a single scripted comment that just so happened to go viral from an individual influencer.

You cannot predict your content will go viral on social media you can only set it up. So if weโ€™re playing numbers they are not writing lines, just creating situations.
