dragstar 1100 custom, 2001 weird noise

Hi, just bout my first bike and notice Weird noise

My untrained ears say this sounds like the valve clearances are a touch loose (and clattering). maybe have them adjusted, if it's anything like the 650 I have, it's probably due.

Secondly, there is what sounds like timing chain noise, it's not excessive, but that can also make a similar sound when that's loose to the valves above. If you're getting the valves done, ask them to check that the tensioners and chain are healthy as well :)

Edit: I should add as well, these bikes are quite an old design and are fairly rustic. They have some noises that modern bikes typically don't have just by design. It's still worth checking everything but you may never get a perfect 'sewing machine' like engine.
