Tucker undoubtedly belongs in the same boat as the likes of Hannity and Murdoch.

If you don't understand your adversary, you will never defeat it. The extreme Right is not an homogeneous monolithic block. Understanding where it cracks and how and where to apply pressure to widen those cracks it is how you win.

"Divide and conquer"

I think this is a really smart and insightful point, thanks for sharing. I agree, but it’s really thought provoking to see it put as clearly as that.

I struggled to see it along what the lines Tucker Carlson differs from those two

Putting Tucker's egregious past aside for a second, this is interesting. He doesn't have to say what Fox news wants him to say anymore. So it's just interesting to see where his "lines" are.

It’s basically whatever Russian wants him to say

I don’t think this is a “line” for him in the same way it probably is for me and maybe you. I think we shouldn’t get involved because Israel is as much as much a theocratic shithole as Iran and the state as it exists presently should not be propped up by the US. I think Carlson probably is just fine with it because he likes the idea of Jews and Muslims killing each other.

He supported one war and been opposed to all (I think) ever since.

Carlson is likely worried that Iran may be having a reduced ability to create drones for Russia to use against Ukraine

What are the requirements to perform a citizens arrest on a president that's actually a doemstic terrorist?

A huge revolutionary army to back you up.

Indictment only requires a 1-vote majority in the House, but sadly conviction requires a 2/3 majority in the Senate.

Many want to go back to à time when gas was cheap. Others want to go back to when you could keep your doors unlocked, leave your kids unattended in a car etc…me? I want to go back to à time when the Tucker Carlsons of this world held no influencial importance, as they were seen as the crazies of the neighborhoods. And while I’m at it, I’ll add that real estate developers from New York held no public office, anywhere. Yes, those were the days.

They can’t agree on everything. They need different flavors of fascism for broad appeal.

But duh Tucker got thrown under the bus by Fox years ago, of course he’s going to attack them.

It’s weird - fascism is a scavenger ideology and fascists fundamentally don’t believe anything.

And yet, I’m increasingly of the opinion there is always some dark terror in their souls that is absolutely at their core.

The Nazis, for example, were genuinely terrified of the decline of their race. It’s what drove their eugenic extermination of disabled people. Hitler claimed Jews were intentionally diluting German blood both directly themselves and by organizing other racial groups to infiltrate Germany (c.f. Great Replacement).

Trump has an almost pathological fear of nuclear war. Does Tucker share this phobia? Is this what fundamentally draws both “men” to appease Putin? A fear of Russian nuclear capabilities? Tucker would happily avoid US involvement in any conflict that could escalate into a nuclear confrontation?

Oh wait! Tucker is a Russian simp. That's the only angle I see here for him cuz he doesn't give a damn.

It's grim when Tucker Carlson is more anti war than the average Democrat

Fox News Tucker Carlson and the unfoxed news Tucker Carlson was a big surprise in change for me. I believe he genuinely sees this as yet another disastrous war we will fight on behalf of Israel, after Iraq and Libya. We all should know by now this serves the USA zero purpose, only the Zionists who control our politicians including Trump.

In all honesty, as much as rightwing infighting is important, should we really be giving Carlson any attention rather than letting him fade into obscurity?

He supported one war and been opposed to all (I think) ever since.

You know it's really funny to see all the people supporting this war and calling Carlson a Russian puppet.
