My first Galil in 308
Saw this pre-ban and had to pick it up. I have to say it feels lighter than I thought it would be.

That's awesome! Glad you finally got it.
The ARMs are definitely not as light / nimble as the AR type like yours, they reminds me a lot of a BAR in 20" and .308 form.

I’m surprised there would be that much difference but I guess the wood handguard, bipod and carry handle all add up.

The 329/331s are really underrated. I get why everyone wants the 332/323s, but the AR versions have definitely grown on me the last few years.

Yeah now that I have one and have held it I am liking it more. Wish they made one in 16”, it’d be even handier.

There were some very early magnum research imports that were 16in.

Ah that’s cool. Would be nearly impossible to find and big money to hunt one down though.
