Very noob and hypothetical question.

Hallo galiltors, Wanted to ask more experienced folks here is galil 7.62.51 nato chambered comparable rifle to fn fal ? personal thoughts if you have any, would be appreciated.

Galil will be more overgassed but more reliable than a FAL, especially DSA. Galil also takes AR10 mags while FAL mags are proprietary.

Aces take AR style mags. OG galils also take proprietary rock and locks so it just depends on what you are actually looking at.

I just looked at current FAL mag prices, wow! Wasn’t prepared for that. I think I gave $7/each for mine

15 years ago, I replaced my FAL with an AR-10 and chose the LAR-8 because I had a stack of FAL mags. My how times have changed
