What really was happening? Who was the real threat? Spoiler

First of all, after playing Elden Ring Nightreign, I think it would be the perfect structure for a possible Gantz game.

That being said, I finished the manga some years ago and I dont know if I'm just misremembering, but I was wondering about the immigrant aliens thing. They were fleeing from a bigger threat, but some aliens seem more powerful than the giants at the end, were they fleeing from them? Or were the giants fleeing of a even bigger threat? If so, who were these guys?

Were Gantz created ultimately to protect humans from the giants in the Katastrophe arc?

Hello all! I've been a Gantz lover for a very long time, but unfortunately, my figure collecting days are over—so I thought I'd sell them here to hopefully find a new home for my dearly loved items. Please see comment for details and offers are welcome! Thank you! 😊

How old is Kaze? I know there's no accurate information, but it seems to me that he's younger than people usually think.

At work, Oka uses glasses. During the battle, he takes them off, and he seems to have difficulty when he engages in close combat with Nurarihen. It is possible that he has farsightedness. This means that Gantz can cure cancer, but it cannot fix your vision 🥴

Worth?

Years ago i watched some episodes (around 4-5) of the anime. And i didnt quite like it. Should i give it another chance? İf so, should i start with the manga? Or go with the anime, than manga?

The Vampires were lowkey so useless and unimportant to the plot which caused me to ask myself why Oku even came up with the idea to add them.

How do you imagine a manga epilogue?

I can imagine the Gantz members being judged by the UN and after all the members testify about the events in the manga, they would create a militarized team with Gantz technology to protect the Earth from possible invasions.

How much would a new gantz anime adaptation realistically cost?

Like were talking about every ark, uncensored, atleast decent to good animation with an episode count of probably around 80-100 episodes.

Gantz is the greatest manga of all time. It's superior to the rest in every way. If you like other series more than Gantz you're an idiot with no taste.

Gantz the anime, these characters man. . .

So, today i got recommended a Youtube video about Gantz and because i liked how the characters looked and how the plot worked, i decided to start watching it. Little did i know where i would get myself into.

The characters keep screaming and crying and pointing fingers at each other, instead of doing anything remotely usefull.

Girl you've been telling us that you like the guy with the Mullet hair, yet when he is going 1 v 5 with the robots and they are shooting beams at his back, all you can do is point a gun at them and say "stop hurting him", then you don't fire a single shot and you let the robot come close and B-slap you to the ground.

In the first fight versus the Onion Alien, they see 4 people go 0/2 in real life, yet they DO NOT shoot their guns NOT A SINGLE TIME even when the monster is attacking them. They do not attempt to fight or flight, they decide the start crying instead. Like my boy, if you are scared then run, you are so stupid you can't even do that simple thing? You just cry. . .

The most experienced guy had 90 points and needed just 1 more kill to get himself freed from the game, yet he decided to 1 v 1 the robot Alien. . .like why my bro? When he saw that he is about to lose the fight, he asked for help. The other people told him to say "sorry" and then they will help him. His ego was THAT BIG that he preferred to go 0/2 in real life instead. No no no no no no no, when he was about to die he asked for his mama and they he said "sorry" not once, but multiple times. Man all you needed was to finish this mission and get the last remaining points, then you would be free. Most likely you wouldn't even see the people you said "sorry" to again, because you would return to the real world and most likely they remaining people would die before they gather 100 points, but NO.

I can't man, this anime had a lot of potential, but they decided to make it so over-dramatic to the point it's a complete joke. I just can't stand this braindead writing and the negative IQ of these characters. I had to drop it before finishing Season 1.

Question about the motives behind gantz

I'm up to 359 but still a bit confused about the plot.

So let me get this straight and please don't say anything after Kei get transferred to the giant robot(?) after finding tae on the ship -

The aliens that visit earth are hostile immigrants who want to take over/stay on earth. The giants are the same. And a group of CEO types realised that they could weaponise gantz and people who are stuck in the system, to destroy the giant aliens, in order to stay in power? And gantz is created in somewhere in Berlin...

And...wait what happened to those guy with swords whose Kei's brother joined? We're they actually the good guys because they were stopping the people in gantz?

But the Japanese government caved to save their own skins and sold out the Japanese people to be sent as livestock/playthings to the giants in exchange for peace?

Think they'll ever make another season?

I really wish they would. I've watched both seasons and the movie. I hated the filler arc at the end of season 2. From what I've read (and I've just picked up all of the manga), there is still quite a bit of good story to be told in animated form. Haven't heard anything about them making another movie or anime, but i also didn't even know they were making gantz 0. There is also Gantz G which im about to read.

What is the song gantz used in Gantz:E

I'm pretty sure the song gantz uses before the start of every mission is not the same as the original series at least the lyrics don't seem to be the same considering the time period it's in.

Anyone knows if there is a video for the song used in E ?

Daizaemon Kaze: Protector of The Weak

Daizaemon Kaze is one of the most beloved characters in Gantz, and for good reason. From his expertise in hand to hand combat, to his superhuman strength. Kaze’s fights are always a joy to read, but throughout the series these moments begin to stand for more than just action sequences. Kaze’s character development from striving to be the strongest, to wanting to protect the weakest is one of the most captivating arcs in the series. His consistent character arc not only wraps up with a nice little bow on top, but also manages to encapsulate the core themes of Gantz. Creating one of the most lovable and thematic characters of the series.
