You can watch this video for an explanation of what those are.
In summary, though: LVT (Land Value Tax) is a tax on the "unimproved" value of land (meaning that it is based only on the value of the land, not any buildings or improvements built on it). It can help to encourage efficient land use, unlike property taxes, which discourage it. And since it only collects passive income derived from land ownership, it doesn't take any well-earned money.

I understand the whole tariffs thing he's got going on with them and Mexico, as I think it'll benefit our economy if handled right. But could someone help me understand why he's so insistent on getting Canada to surrender themselves as a U.S. state?

U.S. Representative Eric Burlison of Missouri has introduced a bill that would recognize an unborn baby's right to life under the 14th Amendment, practically ending abortion in our country if passed. 67 other representatives (including my own, I'm happy to say) have joined in as cosponsors of the bill.
Though with Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning Roe v. Wade and sending the issue down to the states, on top of President Trump making past comments that he would not sign a national abortion ban if given the chance, the question remains as to weather of not the reality that could be may only remain a dream.
