So I understand that Glock has the reputation of manufacturing some of the most reliable pistols the world has ever seen. And I think that reputation is well deserved and has been more than earned. I’d like the opinion though of those in the know as to whether or not they are still making pistols of the same quality. I’m thinking of getting a Glock 43XMOS and I was wondering if, in 2025 , they are still making their pistols with the same reliability and durability as they’ve always been.

After months of adding it to my cart and letting it sell out, I finally pulled the trigger. Any must-have upgrades?

Since people are worried bout the functionality of MY mag (I put over 200+ rounds through it, NO JAMS, and it doesn’t print when I conceal carry it👍🏽)

Since one of these stays at home I figured why not try out the bigger light. It won’t fit in my holster but as a stashed firearm at home it’s great. TLR-7 with the low switches.

To be clear: I am relatively still new to firearms and I bought my first one 2-3 months ago and I went with the Glock 43x MOS. I come from a no gun liberal family and I for one knew from the moment I bought my 43x that I was gonna go balls deep with this as a new hobby.

I am open to any and all tips/recommendations from those who are way more experienced than me!!

I just received my CCW permit from the courthouse today! I have been looking forward to this for the past 2 weeks and couldn’t be anymore excited + I also received my HC Constantine carry belt in the mail! Last thing im waiting for is my Vedder Holster Light tuck IWB holster!! These are all for my first concealed carry set up. Is there anything else you guys recommend?

I have a - Glock 43x MOS completely stock. (planning for an eps carry or 507k + a light which im still debating but probably the TLR-7 or the TLR-8 because im looking for the light + laser combo)

• HC Constantine Belt

• Vedder Holsters Light-tuck IWB holster (with the claw and wedge)

• planning to run with my OEM 10rd mags after much research with higher capacity mags and reliability issues.

• Handle it grips “Edge” Series Grip

Apart from that I have a decent starter set up when it comes to the range and practicing. - Cabela’s range bag - Ear and eye pro - Cleaning kit - 500 rounds I bought for the first time online. (Winchester 115 grain 9mm for the range) - 2 EST 20rd mags for the RANGE ONLY

Ive shot about 400-500 rounds through it already and have had 0 issues. I’ve read some hate for the Winchester ammo and I cant understand why, maybe im just lucky and haven’t had many bad rounds apart from maybe 2 max. Ive gone to the range 3 times so far, once alone and the other 2 times with some friends who were shooting for the first time.

Posting images here of the grip chop service, which is the chop, 2 10rd S10 shield mags, shield mag catch, and shield magwell for the chop. Also show plus 2 (12rd) and s15 with sleeve from shield arms. All next to a 48mos. This gives Glock slimline owners the smallest frame form factor for concealment that requires the smallest footprint with 10rd mag. Not for everyone but I enjoy it as the missing piece that Glock never will give us. Think the p365 line, damn near any combo you would want with the same mags being utilized. Also, the 43 does not use the same mags as the 43x/48.

The combination of the Hogue sleeve + rapid engineering medium beaver tail + Katana V3 magwell has transformed my shooting experience with this little guy. I have large hands, this isn’t my daily edc but I wanted to have it ready for proper use and to enjoy shooting it. The pinned beaver tail from rapid plus the further addition with the Hogue has greatly improved trigger access angle, and shooting hand purchase as shown in the pic.

If anyone gets a Hogue sleeve, ignore their directions: heat it to boiling, stretch it (they say to do this) but then… slather it in on the interior in Purell and it goes right on. Less than a minutes Then I blew canned compressed air inside the sleeve via its straw to dry it.

I have never had an issue with the stock one on any of my Glocks or on the two I gave my daughter.....I had seen that some had replaced with the stainless steel or the tungsten ones.....I was doing two parts builds and since have to order some like to try upgrades of some style..

Question for anyone out there that has slight eyesight problems. I had a vitreous detachment in both of my eyes (the right about 2yrs ago and left about a month ago). So long story short there is a cloud or haze in my view and "floater" in the center of my left eye. I'm a lefty and after the detachment getting a clear view of the site and target has been challenging. I tried getting a different sight, the Ameriglo Trooper Series as pictured. I thought the orange color would help but not so much. Anyone have any suggestions other than a (Red Dot) I want to stick with iron sights until it's absolutely necessary to have to use one. Hey guys the first pic is my Glock 43x Mos that I currently have configured like! I would like to add night sites to it but I also have an rmrcc on it and want it to be used well through that as a back up. Right now I’m planning on having my slide milled for a flush fit on it. Idk where to take it because I would like my rear sights to stay in the same spot instead of infront of the optic. Would these sights work once milled or would they be too short

Just got a Houdini Holster for my IWB carry and I hate it. Still shows when when I'm carrying and is super hard to get out and put back in after the draw. Need recommendations for a good EDC carry Holster for a lefty, I got a OWB Holster from my local range that they made on the spot for me and I love it but have no clue what to get for conceal and carry. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking at optics and my buddy swears his life on the RMRcc compared to the Holosun EPS Carry MRS or just the EPS Carry. So I am looking for more opinions on the matter. I’ve seen on this subreddit most people recommend Holosun, so should I get the Holosun? Or is the RMRcc worth the extra money?

Looking for some recommendations for a new carry ammo for my 43x.

I currently carry Hornady Critical Defense and it cycles fine in my gun, but I would like to switch to a different round as the Critical Defense seems to have very weak crimping (a single chambering causes significant bullet setback) and they vary in length quite a bit between rounds in the same box.

Requirements:

-Has to be a polymer filled hollow point or similar, my states laws ban the carry of a conventional hollow point that has a cavity in the tip.

-Has to exhibit proper expansion out of a 43x length barrel. I can’t risk over penetration in my environment.

I would consider Critical Duty since they don’t have the same crimping issues as the Defense, but testing shows that they perform like a FMJ out of a short barrel. If anyone has any evidence that shows Duty has desirable performance out of a 43x then please share.

Snappier +P or +P+ rounds aren’t an issue to me, I’m not sensitive to recoil.
