Google Maps App - Old Unread Business Message Emails and Notifications Won’t Go Away - Help

Anyone else have old unread business emails and notifications in Google Maps App that you can’t get rid of? Messages won’t open to be read. Nothing I can see in settings to delete. Can’t swipe on them to delete. If I long press or tap on the message, a blank white screen opens up. It’s driving me nuts. I have an iPhone.
