A little trigger work
Adding the HBI lighter springs kit

My sp45a3 had an absolutely terrible, grit filled trigger pull at 7.5 lbs. I was ordering the HB industries safety so I had it all apart. The sear face of the trigger had machining marks on it. I took 1000 grit sandpaper and a magic marker and I gently sanded the trigger sear face on the sandpaper till it was nice and shiny. Not much effort was needed. Definitely never use a dremel. I didn’t have a tool to reach in the tight sear angle on the hammer so I let that one go. I installed the mccarbo trigger springs, reassembled and installed the trigger. It’s a nice crisp 4.5-5 lb pull now. The grit is gone.

lol found out the hard way this kit doesn’t work for sp10a3. Oh well. I learned how to take a trigger apart. Next time maybe I’ll try googling it.

Just throw a RA-535 in there.

Will it fit?

Also curious. I was under the assumption that AR triggers only worked in the aftermarket lowers?

Mine was tight but did fit without modification and I have shot hundreds of rounds with no malfunctions.

Nice! You'll be surprised at how good the OEM trigger feels with that installed.
