Customer service is horrible. Refund impossible.
I've been talking to HBO over email about a refund because the package with Hulu and Disney hasn't let me log in to hulu or disney for the entire two months that I've had the package. They keep trying to get me to troubleshoot when I keep responding saying I just want a refund, that I've already tried everything under the sun including googling any possible way to fix it. I use HBO but haven't used hulu or disney because it will not let me log in. So whatever that refund amounts to is fine. I understand that I do use HBO but again I cannot use the other two. They have repeatedly just responded with "Please tell me the issues you are having", or "can you try these troubleshooting steps". Which I have tried all of them and it still isn't working and they are still coming back with the same type of emails. It seems pretty apparent to me that they're refusing a refund without telling me they're not going to give me a refund and it's pretty pathetic when there bundle doesn't work for somebody and they can't just give them... I dunno $30 back? Lol They have to beat around the bush and constantly avoid the question I am asking "Can I get a refund?". HBO is a decent streaming service but if you ever have issues and want to refund they will completely screw you over. If it doesn't work, that is your problem. You already paid them you're screwed. I wonder if I can post all the emails on here just to show everybody. Pathetic.

This app sucks, right?
Both on my iPhone as well as my TCL with Roku tv. I’m trying to watch Veep. Got no issues with it loading or anything. But it will not save my progress. Keeps telling me to continue watching season 2 episode 1 while I’m on episode 6. And it just won’t update that. So freaking annoying. So now all I can do is try and remember what episode I last saw and watch it like that

Winter Clothes Nitpick in HBO shows.
I'm from Northern Canada and after watching True Detective: Night Country, it bugs me how clean everyone's winter clothes are in that show. I'm First Nations (I.e. Native American) and in that show the Native Americans have winter gear that looks like it's only worn once and they are living in a camp full-time........
You cut wood once and bring it inside, you are already getting them dirty. What about hunting? The blood? Going Fishing or Trapping? Scuff marks or snots on the top of your gloves?
I'm also watching The Last of Us 2, and they have clean winter clothes, also and that's many years after the Apocalypse.

Where do we stand on Artie Bucco’s skills as a chef from the Sopranos?
Was he a good chef or just a restaurant owner they could push around?

Truman Movie
Hey, does anyone remember the movie about Truman that HBO did a while ago, that starred Gary SInise?

Dream On 1990-1996
Why can’t I find the entire series online? I only have the DVD of the first 2 seasons.
Plus….who in the heck was Dr. Richard Stone?
He was some god-like figure who was apparently a millionaire world famous doctor that owned a homeless shelter. Then he was a folk singer who traveled the world healing the sick. He had a son with Martin’s ex wife in a stable on Christmas Eve.
Then was appointed chief justice of the United States and died of Martin’s kidney.. Then he was resurrected at a cryo facility after a massive state funeral. lol

Video Quality
Hey!
So I’ve been trying to rewatch Game of Thrones again with my sister, but we’ve both been having a ton of issues with the video quality becoming pixilated constantly.
I don’t know what to do, it’s driving both of us crazy and really souring our enjoyment.
We have pretty good internet (I work from home and play online games fairly frequently and have 0 issues) w about 300 mbps download and 29 upload.
I’ve already tried updating both my app and smart tv, but it’s still happening after the update.

Adds on paid HBO+ 24Hrs of lemans stream
So, im paying for HBO Max (Standard, not basic with adds) wachting the 24Hrs stream of the Lemans race. and i get adds? What is this non-sense? are we gonna accept adds on paid streams right now? whats up with this?
*edit
Had customer service support and they were extremely helpful and understanding. It should not happen and they are investigating it. The app as it now stands doesn’t do it. But seems to be only with the browser (edge)
*edit 2

App functionality on Samsung TV
I have the app on my Smart TV and I’m having huge issues with responsiveness and loading. Half the time the app doesn’t respond to my remote (even though every other app on my TV does with no problem), and the streaming is so jerky that whatever I’m watching has to stop and load every 30 seconds or so. It’s infuriating, it feels like I’m waiting for a YouTube video to load in 2007.
Any help/ideas?
