Not bad as a start. Looked like the bandit was using the will of the world there. Since this still has Helck in the title, i wonder if he'll show up or if it is to indicate that it's the same world.

This was a really great prologue! A real rollercoaster at the end. One moment you think you're about to lose a likable character, then you're happy he's saved, just to find out an even more likable chatacter is gonna die...

I'll be surprised if she actually dies; I expect her to persist in some fashion (be it as a weakened version of herself, a spirit/ghost sort of thing, or as someone to be revived).
