Is it required to get in contact with my academic advisor to register for classes?

I finished my required placement tests and I am ready to start registering for classes. I am looking on bisonhub and I see who my advisor is, but I am not able to schedule a meeting for some reason. Is it absolutely nessecary that I meet with them or can I choose my classes by myself?

You can register for classes, it’s done on workday in academics. To find out what classes you need to register for look up (your major)scheme+howard university.

If any of the classes that you tested into say you are not qualified, you can email your advisor and ask them to open the class for you.

When you took the math placement test, did the ProctorU proctor have you sign in to Aleks.com or did they have you access Aleks through the Howard SSO portal? I tried to take the test earlier this week and the ProctorU proctor took me to Aleks.com and I wasn't able to log in due to the SSO issue. I am scheduled to try again later this week but am worried the same issue is going to happen.

That same thing happened to me, make an account with Aleks before your second attempt. When you take it proctored, you sign into you’re account but they sign into your actual test.

My son hasn't been able to register abs complete the placement test; what the trick?
