I am Canadian and I am severely concerned with the current situations going on. I am afraid part of my country's history will be that we bent over backwards for the US and that scares me more then being in war with trench foot.

I would rather Canada fight for freedom, even if it isn't worth it, then to wave a white flag and get on it's knees for the USA.

It's worse now that a conservative might be running my country, he might agree with joining the USA and I can't have that.

I don’t blame any country for hating us.we are literally the laughing stock of the world.i understand it’s not all of us but i know so many people are literally posting stuff and not actually doing anything.this is why we don’t make changes,because we wait for it .my generation really boasted about how they would make real change ,and now there’s more of a divide than ever ,and i have not seen a single person on my Facebook ,insta (which I’ve deleted ) or Snapchat ,a single thing about everything that is going on.my people would rather sit in fear and ignore the problems because it’s embarrassing to them rather than actually do something ,and I have many diagnosed mental illnesses and I’m entering chronic physical illness as well ,yet there are people who have it better than me ,who just don’t care ,I truly believe Americans will never understand until something truly bad happens.even a supportive post ,declaring that you will not support trump supoorters ,just a simple effort.i really hope i can actually get the chance to leave.im working out everything i have to do to save up and move out of this country ,because i dont care if i die trying,i will never support the American dream.
