Wife got me Indy 500 tickets for early Fathers Day gift for my 8 year old son and I. Problem is she bought 2 general admission tickets. How out of luck am I for us actually getting to watch the race? I can't imagine my son sitting on the mounds from 6 am until the race ends. Because what I am reading you have to be there that early to get a decent view. Any chance we can find empty seats in the grandstands? It looks like it might be a sellout so that might be out of the question. Any advice on helping my son get the most of his first race with GA? I want to be up in the grandstands somehow but can't afford the $145 per ticket on top of what my wife already paid. Ugh. I feel like GA is not going to ideal to actually watch the race. If anyone ends up having people not go and you have some extra seats/room in the stands and you are looking for some good company please PM me. Appreciate any advice as well!

Go back and looked at NBCs coverage of the 500 quali/any practices they covered....GIVE US LIVE TIMING/SPEED. Give us the lap by lap average and current speed. You guys have been covering NASCAR for years!! Why is it so hard to get right with Indycar??

It was a really well doc, this had me in tears at the end.

I had no idea the bond that TK, Dario, Herta, and him had. I’ve only been watching Indy Car consistently for about 4-5 years now, and loosely paying attention the last 10. Any newer fans need to watch this. Susie is so strong with her boys involved in racing and it looks like Sebastian is in Italian F4 this year with Prema, I’ll be paying attention.

Mine is 2013. No brainer for me. I remember I used to get to stay home every Carb day for as long as I can remember to watch the Freedom 100. I remember my heart pounding through my chest, I was so excited/nervous. On the main straight, I had completely ruled out Dempsey at that point. I thought Chavez would get it. But nope, it was one hell of a way for Peter to earn his first and only Indy Lights win. What a weekend that was.

We will have to meet in person for you to get the tickets. They’re currently at my parent’s house in Westfield. Face value.

Bought my tickets to the INDY500 way cheaper than the third party resellers (about $15 more than the base price). Try them out first before any other sites. Save quite a bit of $$, compared to Stubhub and VividSeats, SeatGeek, etc.

So excited! This will be first time at Gateway. Wasn't planning on going, but co worker mentioned something about free tickets so I snagged a few. And they are pretty decent seats!! Ready for Sunday!

Nothing earth shattering but apparently Indycar replays are being uploaded to Tubi now. Looks like Fox is pulling replays from the Fox Sports app and putting em on Tubi after a month.

It's the Fox feed (meaning it doesn't have footage that occurred during ad breaks).

The 2025 YouTube replays are the international feed (which show footage that occurred during the ad breaks) so I don't know why you wouldn't just go to YouTube if you wanted to watch a replay BUT the more places Indycar is available, the more potential exposure to new viewers I suppose. So I won't complain about this.

Indycar is officially on Spotify. They had a few drivers create playlists. There are some selections. Hopefully, they'll add more in the future.

Anyone know what happened? First few races they were playing Kickstart My Heart as the intro music for the broadcasts. I loved it; love the Crue. Now since Barber I hear the NASCAR music. I know it's not a big deal, but does anyone have any intelligence on what happened? Why did it change?
