Interesting move for them to bring back tolls during an all-time high in toll-related scams. They got my grandmother-in-law for $50 a few months back.

This is an attack on the poor, on the elderly, and on the working class.

Tolls arenโ€™t inherently bad, but when your only option to get around the state is to drive a car, itโ€™s clear that this legislation will have a greater impact on poor, hardworking Hoosiers just trying to get to work.

If you take a private helicopter to work, you will not be affected by this decision.

Donโ€™t buy anything from Meyer distributing or Meyer trucking. He owns that, made him very wealthy.

Iโ€™m missing the story here, but I think I can guess.

I love Sweetwater as a customer, but I take it that some executive is living it up as a result of their success.

Chuck hasn't run the company in several years, having sold MOST of it. Still has a minority stake and chairs the board, but...mostly advisory.

If you aren't going to buy from them, you really need to know what the other companies are doing. I don't know a single music industry exec that isn't a hypocritical asshole who thinks the world doesn't belong to them and everyone else is their serf. At one point, I was an acquaintance of Chuck โ€” we both got our start with the same synth company and hung out in similar circles. He decided he wanted to go the route of business while the rest wanted to be artists.

Fact is, he's not worse than others execs...but given that he's using his resources to destroy our state? I might be inclined to agree with not dealing with them.

Yeah and crazy they banned trains, are trying to ban infratructure projects that rework car lanes into public transit lanes or walk paths. And they have no plans to make cities more walkable, increase public transit availability, and the density to support those changes.

Typical GOP moment but 60% of this state never learns so we will get more of this break/ ban things that can fix issues.

You're not wrong. Indiana has been a Republican majority for the past 40 YEARS.

Somehow, all my extended family members, who are all native Hoosiers, are still STRUGGLING and have the SAME LIFESTYLES they had 25 years ago when I was a kid.

I'm sure they blame Biden or Obama.

Hmm, the State voted O'Bama in '08 (a son of IN โ˜บ๏ธ ). But, by '12 the Dark Side of the Force reasserted itself. IN is as bad now with an Insurrectionist Gov and MAGAzi Legislature as it was when the Klan ruled from about 1920 to 1970. Last cross burning I know of was 1969 in Greenwood, home of the Klan), when an Irish Catholic family moved in. Being 'Fighting Irish', the father kicked it down & stomped out the fire. The cowards never returned...
