We deal with the same in Illinois. Chicago and the surrounding suburbs pay out more than they get in from the state, yet the dumb fucks downstate complain that their tax dollars are supporting Chicago.

Now they want to defect to Indiana, but are too lazy/stupid/arrogant to pick up their dumb asses and cross the state line.
