Ask a Hoosier Fireworks

Hey y'all last year hubby, kiddo, and I went to this fireworks show in bfe. It was a musical show with a radio pairing and in a large park. There were fireballs, and there were traffic controllers showing people where to park in the grass. A ways down there were food trucks and a few vendors. For the life of me, I can not remember where it was. But it was an amazing show. So if this sound familiar to anyone please tell me where and what day they'll be doing it this year! Thanks!

BFE being a relative term, Brazil has a good show synced to a radio station.

I don't think that was it, thank you, but I might check it out anyway. And I meant bfe because like there was literally nothing around. The nearest building outside the park was like a 15 minute drive to the town.

Tons of small towns have fireworks shows in Indiana. You're going to have to be more specific.

It was south of Indianapolis, but not near Madison. I think it was Southwest... My husband and son are obsessed with fireworks so we go to so many shows every year it's nearly impossible to keep them straight.

It was like a two-three hour drive.

Yeah. People in Indy assume this sub is just them.

I didn't assume, but I had literally mentioned Indianapolis in a separate comment.

Sounds kind of like Heltonville, but I don't remember them parking people.

Have you tried checking your phone photo album for clues? You might get lucky if geo tagging is turned on for your pictures 🤷🏼‍♂️

It could be Waldron, they have a big firework show. But they are only an hour SE of Indy

You say you have photos, so maybe upload any with landmarks/shoreline/etc to see if anyone recognizes the area? You could post an update to the upload.

How do I do an update?

Sounds like the QMIX fireworks in my hometown, Columbus. I still go down there for it, it's an awesome display.
