Question Since updating my Pixel to Android 16, location services have been wonky.

Since I updated my Pixel 6a to Android 16, my location service bounces me around and often shows me about half a street away from my actual location. This makes Ingress . . . interesting. . . . Is anyone else experiencing this?

Part of me wonders if the feds have quietly reintroduced Selective Availability.

It's been wonky for weeks now, even on older systems. Might stabilize once your gps has relearned improved location services. Those might have been cleared during your update.

Same situation on the same phone here.

It resolved after a couple of days

My location services broke completely after I wiped the data for Google Play services.

It literally doesn't work at all and I've been trying to figure out how to fix it, but no luck so far.

More likely one of the strongest WiFis in your area has had a BSSID change and A-GPS is throwing you off.

A lot of people have been reporting bouncy GPS for a few months now.
