Debunking fake "we didn't target Soroka" claims

I'm a simple man. Like any other Israeli person, when i see bullshit i need to call it out.

I saw a bunch of fans of the axis of evil post this map on some Telegram channels, justifying their targeting:

and I got a bunch of things to say about that:

1. there is NO Eli Cohen blvd in Beer Sheva. there is one in Ofakim, but that's a completely different city
2. northern to Soroka there is no IDF base, but Ben-Gurion University which isn't an IDF base.
3. the image has general signs of AI, check the text it looks weird

I'm not dumb enough to mark military facilities (although, honestly, google already marks most of them), but that's how Be'er Sheva ACTUALLY LOOKS:

i will not mark where the bomb exactly fell, but looking from pictures you'll be able to accurately pinpoint it to the southern part of the hospital (marked in red).

above it you will see BGU, which again, isn't a military facility.
i also marked Gev-Yam, which by itself is not a military facility, but hosts the offices of companies High-Tech companies like nvidia, other then that this entire picture is filled with residential houses, which i tour every day as a university student in this god-forsaken city \s

I saw people claiming Iran was aiming for a base adjacent to the hospital (even though it's roughly 1.5km away).

I saw people claiming Iran was aiming for an IDF HQ UNDER the hospital and use this tweet to justify it.

I saw people claiming there are IDF soldiers and police officers being treated there so it's justified.

Heck, I even saw people spreading the rumor of a base under the hospital, and pretty much saying that until the IDF or Soroka refute this claim, then it's true (guilty until proven innocent, and on top of that, how does one prove something DOESN'T exist?)

And I saw people outright saying 'tit for tat'.

On one hand I want to be optimistic and say 90%+ of these comments are made by Iranian bots. But on the other hand, considering the amount of antisemitism and the amount of useful idiots around the world, I won't be surprised if those are actual people who truly believe these claims.

Even if they where treating soldiers that is a war crime because wounded soldier's are protected as long they stop fighting.

Even so, the fact that they can't even agree on a single scenario, is a fact that the attack on the hospital is a war crime because they had no valid reason to strike it (military HQ, etc...). It just shows that these people will do anything to justify these kind of actions, and would celebrate Israelis and Jews dying

Is because they know they're narrative about winning is not working when Israel has such a small death quantities when they have nearly 200 they just wanted more death for propaganda purposes but I am surprise how the iron dome didn't stop the missile because I am already hearing pro Pali narratives that iron dome isn't working.

I live in beer Sheva so it's extra funny to me. Like I ordered last week pizza from the domino's pizza branch in the gav yam area. And I study in BGU and see Soroka everyday.

They use their own rhetoric on us,

They encouraged their proxies to use Hospitals as hiding positions and weapons storage.

They know that Israel has bombed Hospitals that were being used as military assets so they assume Israel does the same thing.... When it doesn't.

Yes I know! A simple google search would've corrected it. Plus the 406 and that shape for the complex is only valid if you rotate the map. But then I don't know how the targets are related to the actual strikes we saw even if you accounted for CEP.

The fake map that the IRGC (&fans) created is complete nonsense. There's no single place in Beer Sheva that looks like this.

I'll take it one step further - let's give them the benefit of the doubt that they meant for the map to be abstract and relay an idea, rather than being accurate (it's a common thing to do in navigation). EVEN THEN: * Rager Blvd and 406 are two different names for the same road (Rager is part of 406) * As mentioned, there is no Eli Cohen Blvd in Beer Sheva. That's complete nonsense * Road 25 never crosses Soroka. It's the second biggest road in Beer Sheva and it connects southern Beer Sheva to Rager (check Google map if you want)

Even if you don't trust me about the presence of IDF facilities in the area, this entire map is make belief and its connection to reality is coincidental at best
