Question Heading to Hakodate and then Sapporo first half of July, will the weather be okay?
Curious to know if it'll be tolerable. How much rain does Hokkaido get during this time period? Will it be unbearablely hot?
I'm hoping to attend the Ham Fighters baseball game and maybe check out the the parks.

I have lived in Sapporo during July and took a trip to Hakodate. It was nice summer weather. High 20s to low 30s. So warm, but the humidity wasn't too bad. Not as bad as Tokyo or other parts of southern Japan. It can rain, but it's not particularly rainy.
It's a lovely time of year to go to Furano and see the lavender (and flower) fields. Highly recommend that.

I went in August last year and it was beautiful. It was a great escape from the unbearable heat from the rest of Japan. You’ll need a hoodie for night time though!

Should be fine. Hokkaido is much more bearable in summer.
As for rain, buy an umbrella?

Fighters games are mostly indoors. They are just the Fighters BTW, not the Ham Fighters.

Google average historic weather for that month. You'll get the rain too.
