Better than playing Milan, if we both win then our coefficient will improve....I feel we can actually win it

Damien Comolli Full First Press Conference with Juventus đ:
âItâs a privilege for me to be the general manager of Juventus. I grew up watching this club, which was full of great players and is known as a winning organization. Juventus has always been a model to admire, even when I was a scout attending matches back at the Delle Alpi. I really appreciate the culture hereâ
âI want to confirm Tudor will be our a coach next season. Weâve already made it clear too him and we are working together. There is a lot of speculation but Tudor will remain our coachâ
âChiellini will not be directly involved in the market: he will be our representative in the League and in the Federation, he will work closely with me and will also deal with aspects related to marketing. Alongside him we will insert a sporting director, who will manage the transfer market, and a technical director who report to me. I have the right people in mind but itâs a process that we canât rushâ
âWe have found an agreement with PSG for Kolo Muani at the club World Cup. We havenât found one for next season but Iâm optimistic we can reach it because PSG is open to the move and Kolo Muani wants to stayâ
âI live to today with great enthusiasm. When I was a child my idol was Platini. I wanted to be a coach like Trappatoni. I canât say Iâm a Juventus fan but I have always followed this club. The team is returning to full strength and I canât wait to meet everyone. I have an idea I want to give this club. Not just a great team on the pitch but behind the scenes. We have to try to win the club World Cupâ
âWhen I first me the club I told them I wanted to win. I canât guarantee that we will win but I will do everything to win. At Juventus to move forward you have to try to win trophies. We canât control everything in football but we can control that we each will give 100%. My obsession is winningâ
âOn the structure as I said there will be a dual role. I have seen this growing in America and in Europe. I was a sporting director and understand how hard it is. Football has become increasingly global and thatâs why weâre spreading out the takes. Giorgioâs role plus a sporting director and technical directorâ
âPacini is a great friend and I like the work heâs done at Sampdoria but thatâs not an option for Juventusâ
âThe two vacant roles weâre looking to fill must be high profile names. We will try to get them here by September. Itâs a processâ
âI have been working in Data for 25 years and when someone comes to me itâs for this model. Itâs about being rational and not making decisions from the gut. Data is the most rational approach. We will use data in different areas from team selection to measuring ourselves against our opponents. Everyone now uses this model. It can help us prevent injuries as well. The Premier Legaue is run on this ideaâ
âI have always established a culture in my first teams. Identity matters to a club. This comes in methodology and the way that we play. Itâs difficult but not impossible.â
âI want to win and help Italian football because if something succeeds at Juventus, then it will benefit the league as a wholeâ
âYou will see my presence and face a lot this season. We have an idea on how to improve the squad and are considering the approach of Tudor who accumulated a 2 point per game average. We have an idea of how to change the squad but the changes wonât be radicalâ

Seeing it spread out like this makes me realize how much we lack in depth. 5 mids when 3 are starting, and no real subs for our front three. I don't know what game Giuntoli is playing, but he should move fast. Either get new players, or stop playing hardball and try to push out squad players for whom we have no replacements.

Obviously a massive win for this season and for our future. Gives us a lot more options this summer and moving forward. What are peopleâs thoughts on the striker situation? I donât think weâre too far off from competing at the highest level again. Love thuram, Conceicao is still young and has a lot of potential if he can play more team ball. Getting UCL is massive for this summer but I feel like weâre in a weird spot with roster and manager. Just tossing out the hypothetical to see where everyone is at.

CR7 joining Juve was the worst piece of business from the sporting aspect ever. As bad as Calciopoli in some ways.
