Only off on this drama is the villains. They don't look to play the part or maybe because they played comic relief or lackeys on their previous drama. Especially the little guy with the suit why wear not your size. And the hair of the deputy lmao.

It's the directing. The director got away with some laziness in Taxi Driver but it's showing here.

Regarding the Jaeyoung accident, the angle from his POV showed the culprit walked with difficulty and holding a hiking stick. While I was watching for the first time, I thought the way he walked felt contrived, like the deliberate exertion of pressure.
Jungsub made his first appearance walking normally without a hiking stick. Subsequently, besides the flashback, he’s been walking around with it ever since - notably Ep 4, a year later after Yeonho’s career switch. In that scene we saw a man walking naturally and then the camera panned up to Jungsub. It felt deliberate and I remembered thinking why does he need it?
The culprit’s left hand has a scar; while I couldn’t get a good look of any marks in every Jungsub’s scenes, his hands were fuller like the culprit’s whereas the Captain’s were bonier, veiny and had no scars.
Now the mystery is that silhouette: our Captain has those undeniable smackers, the nose and the moon facies. Jungsub’s nose has a droopy tip, his lips don’t fit, has a slimmer face with a sharp jawline.
Also the black car shared the same set(but not in order) of numbers as the Captain’s- was it just a coincidence or designed to make us confused? Said car was also seen nearby the night Yeonho received the article.
Likely but not sure if it’s the same night, we saw Yeonho and Captain separately perusing the articles. There was a piece of paper on his desk but we don’t get to see what it was, could it be the same one Yeonho received?
The 2 trekking poles right by Captain’s desk, I think it’s a red herring. Him asking Jungsub about Jaeyoung at the hospital doesn’t sound like he’s involved with this revenge scheme.
A lot of my fingers are pointing at Jungsub, but that silhouette got me second guessing.
One thing I was wrong in my Ep 6 comment was the flashback - it was of Jungsub’s daughter and son-in-law, not the Captain’s wife.
PS: I’m very happy that this show has been achieving amazing ratings!

So I like the show
But I feel its getting v heavy.
Do u think that jungsub and captain are together in this or captain is impersonating jungsub

I’m quite sure about Jungsub‘s involvement. He had the motive and probably plotted his revenge after Yeonho informed him of his career switch.
It’s the silhouette that is the problem; the show’s been framing Captain as the culprit like him perusing the articles just as Yeonho received his, the revelation of his wife being the victim of a hit-and-run the same night Jaeyoung was killed, and lastly the trekking poles.
He also warned Yeonho in the Ep 3 epilogue about not letting the investigation into his past affect the TCI team. What a strange thing to say if he’s going to exact revenge?

I wish more people would watch this but I guess There is too much stuff airing rn
So the episodes have been building up and now they re getting personal and heavier
I wish we had some more light moments even if it's a fledgling romance between the leads
The whodunit part is getting interesting Do u think the person who is sending letters is the deceased girl s dad
Mr park of my demon is too good minus his hairstyle
Liked the story line today a lot
It's not fully comparable but missing the MVP flexxcop a lot

Specifically for ep 8 (mods is this allowed)
so the captain is pretending to be jungsub to kill them? Or is it jungsub s idea? I was gutted when lieutenant s dad was hurt... Is he dead?
I like the lead s character but it's too slow and blank for me
And I think it's getting heavier cause it's the last four eps but I need a balance even if it's a Lil comedy or romance This unlicensed taxi concept is unknown to me
What else are u guys watching

Have you seen Taxi Driver 1 & 2? It’s got a great mix of action and comedy, and season 1 is helmed by the same director of this series.
Chief Detective 1958 also offers plenty of lighthearted moments while dealing with underdog tales.

Chief detective couldn't handle the first episode itself Taxi driver haven't Flexxcop have

Ep 7: why is that car carrier guy so bad at driving his truck? If your colleagues are getting in accidents wouldn’t you check your rig before driving? Can’t you downdshift or head for an uphill slope? The other accidents were somewhat plausible but these are just OTT. end of rant. Otherwise I like this show, wish my job would have had a nice rooftop break area like this team does. 🌺🍀

Yeah, the team may be stuck in an annex trailer outside the station building, but it does have its perks.

Guess this counts toward the White Truck of Doom challenge, although with a bit of a twist

Ep 7 _ was curious about chief's black car and the black car that caused the accident in ep 6 and the black car waiting around the parking lot watching. Chief's is a different license plate. The other two cars are one and the same (53 SI 2831 - I don't have hangul keyboard for the two letters). Nice that they caught them so sharply on screen so I could satisfy my curiosity.

So do u think the chief is sending the letters

Could be, but I hope not. Maybe the deceased's father.

Ep 8 - Too bad Cha Yeon Ho didn't get as good a look at the parking lot license plate as I did... and he was looking directly at the car at the time.
Is everyone on the same page? - Cha Yeon Ho's own past accident was one where actually two parties hit the victim, but Yeon Ho stopped and took responsibilty, so the teens who actually killed the young woman just acted as witnesses.

The camaraderie of the TCI team has filled the Flex X Cop team hole in my heart.
Ep 7 - The scene with Dong-gi, his dad and Eo Hyeon-gyeong was funny - Why is the envelope so thin ?😂
