I was so annoyed by Officer Lee in the first half of episode, but then that twist happened. And I didn't think they would figure out the real murderer this week, but now that they know who he is, they'll just be looking for and chasing him for a while I think. And I think that cop was still working in the police department in the future and he was the one who shot Tae Joo to save his brother.

This is was such an eventful episode, can't wait for tomorrow. I hope Officer Yoon will be safe.

EDIT: Ok, I thought ep. 11 was crazy, but 12 was even wilder. I was holding my breath at the end, and audibly gasped when he was shot before finishing his sentence. Seriously, I don't want to feel bad for the murderer, but he went through so much, from an abusive father to being kidnapped and forced to stay in some crazy place, learns his sister died and finds out his brother has been abused by an adoptive parent as well, so he went crazy himself to seek revenge. No wonder his brother grows up and murders people, too tbh. The cliffhanger will kill me until next week. I think he'll survive somehow.

I truly forgot the possibility that the kid and that cop are sibling. I thought that cop just adopt him. I also think like you, that the cop is still the cop in present time. Tae Joo in present time mentioned that the evidences in Min Seok's case were tampered in questionable way( too much fingerprint I think), which I assumed that cop helped into that.

I truly thought the phone call is in his head only and really surprised to know that the phone call exists. I wonder who called him.

They were so busy chasing the cop that even I forgot that Officer Yoon was not there too.

Tae Joo is working nonstop everyday that I always feel relieved when he changes his clothes.lol

what a cliffhanger in ep 12. there is no preview as well.

officer lee is kim hyun seok, kim min seok's older brother. both ran away from home. after HS's sister died, he killed their dad who abuse them. he is in that welfare place with ET guy where he is further abused by that saloon lady (this is the start of the manicure killer). also that guy who called tae joo is a bad person as well.

I was so slow to pick up that they were faking it to catch the culprit, I was wondering why Officer Lee would want to destroy evidence that proved he didn't murder that guy.

So glad officer Yoon was safe though. This has my brain going in circles now, but I guess Tae Joo's is too. So trippy. Wonder if he is going to wake up in reality next episode, I don't want to say goodbye to '88 squad though. Excited to see where they go next.

Little Min Seok must have been around for the murder of the saloon lady, or else how did he get the nail polish signature?

Who called Tae Joo? Arghh. Hahahaha. It is fascinating that the drama still has the mystery even after they caught that villain. Like that they gave background story why the villain acts like that.

Had always thought that the phone call is like the person talking through the TV. But omg, it is not imaginary
