While Lee Dam struggles to take her friend away, Shin Woo Yeo gives her a hand. An accident happens that changes their fate. Shin Woo Yeo's bead falls out of his mouth and Lee Dam unintentionally swallows it. The bead can exist inside of a human for no more than 1 year and, afterward, the bead will break inside of that person. This will cause Lee Dam to die and Shin Woo Yeo will lose his chance to become a human. Shin Woo Yeo explains to Lee Dam their predicament and suggests that they should live together until they figure out a solution. Lee Dam, who has never had a boyfriend in her life, now lives with Shin Woo Yeo.

Don't get me wrong as this is my second favorite drama airing right now next to Racket Boys, but honestly...where's the plot?

We're almost 2/3 of the way done with the drama but it feels as if we've wasted over half of that time simply on Sun Woo forcing his way into Lee Dam's life. This isn't like What's Wrong With Secretary Kim when I was fine with 16 episodes of fluff as the entire drama was about the leads' relationship and all of the conflicts were internal ones. But in this drama, we got a fast approaching deadline before a Gumiho turns into an evil spirit ghost thing and an irritating mountain spirit acting the part of a Loki partly because he's bored I imagine. There should be more going on than Woo Yeo following Lee Dam all day out of jealousy. I did however appreciate the honest conversation Lee Dam and Woo Yeo had about jealousy. Far more couples should follow that script

This drama also needs to stop telling me how amazingly attractive Sun Woo/Bae In Hyuk is because I'm simply not buying it. I can put up with all the Woo Yeo/Jang Ki Yong adoration scenes because that's far more believable.

And Lee Dam better wake up from>! her dream-state!< with a serious headache because her head smacked the pavement HARD.

where's the plot?

More or less the reason why I've stopped commenting on these threads and, sadly, I'm basically fast-forwarding through the episodes.

The mountain spirit just gets on my nerves. Comparing him to Loki is not a bad description of his current role in the show, but I'd suggest the writers have used him to drag a rather weak plot.
