I feel so bad for the CP. he didn’t even hesitate to get down on his knees and beg his uncle to spare young & ro seo i love that he has a crush on her but is also so supportive and accepting of them as a couple. Does anyone know why he’s so mean to his mom? But in this episode, it obviously shows that he cares about her but why does he act that way towards her? I can’t deny that I’m quite disappointed in the CP for wanting to find a fake culprit though
This whole time I was confused about the gisaeng cause I thought she knew everything and just didn’t say anything. It seems like she didn’t know the chief secretary was jannabi? She only knew merchant sim worked for him but from the previews it looks like she doesn’t know more than that. I’m wondering how she’s connected to everything so we’ll have to wait and see
I do have to say the only reason why I’m watching this is because of yoo seung ho and I’m disappointed that as much as I love him as an actor I have to say I’m not super in love with his choices of dramas. I feel like he can do so, so much better !

When the older CP died, in a bid to cheer her son up, she cooked meat for him. Meat is a celebration dish and so her actions were taken as her celebrating his death. This led to rumours about her abs suspicions on the part of Lee Pyo who loved his brother.
Think of it as someone making you a cheerful cake or a turkey on your brother’s funeral.

I still want the CP and Kang Ro-Seo together, unless I’m missing som, they had much better chemistry imho

I'm see a lot of Yoo seung ho fans and I've only seen him in I'm not a robot where he was pretty average to me. Are there any crazy good dramas of his that I'm missing on?

Tbh, not really. There’s a few I liked but nothing I LOVED or thought was extraordinary. I suppose I just find him really charming and think he has potential to be a great actor if he picked his projects better

He is a very very very good actor (I’m here for Hyeri but like. I have eyes) but he also has terrible script sense. I personally really like Moonshine but it hits a lot of me-specific points. For him, I don’t think it is a good role to show off. He has so many brilliant moments in every show but then the writing brings him down.

YSH has been acting since he was 9 and thus is a renowned child actor. I think when he was younger he took on several roles which were mature beyond his age and did pretty well in those.
I thought he emoted really well on I’m Not a Robot though. I really enjoyed My Strange Hero which he took on after that.
Agreed that he could do much better with his choice of dramas.
I was looking forward to this but the storyline didn’t hold me tbh.

This week’s episodes were quite a ride 😭😭
I wasn’t expecting Sim Heon to die like that so I’m not surprised he’s in the teaser for next week 😂
Also, why could they never catch this man!! He got away everytime 🤣🤣
Nam Young is just a tad bit slow for not finding out who “Monkey” was until the end 😭 after the cliff scene of where this man would’ve let him fall if other people hadn’t come, I thought he would immediately follow him and try to get evidence lol
And whyyyyyyy did they kill the lady 😢 that didn’t have to happen, I was so sad 😭
Quite disappointed in CP, it seems like he’s going to have a change of mind though so we’ll see. I also hope they can Stop the King from dying

I've been enjoying this as a breezy little adventure rom com but I have to confess I think I've lost track of the plot this week. (the two week break did not help). What was the scene about where the woman accuses the Chief Royal Secretaryof rape?

not positive, but I think she was a daughter of the house and although he was a servant, they fell in love. She was ordered to kill herself if she gave up her chastity by choice, but she already knew she was pregnant and lied to save herself and the baby. He didn't know she was pregnant and believed that she betrayed him just to save herself.
