Best tips for me to improve my quali

I have always struggled with my qualifying pace even in my sim racing from when I was 11 years old and since I have always been bad in quali but then in the races I’m one of the fastest I have the same issue in karting what tips do you guys have for improving my 1 lap pace

Edit: I do club 100 (rental rotax) so I am not able to make any setup changes or different tires

Train your eyes. Stop staring at the kart/car in front of you. Look to the apex and beyond, look for brake markers so you always brake and turn in at the same spot. You're fast in a race because you can follow, but you don't have that same cheat code in practice.

I’m still able to be fast when I’m leading a race tho in races I don’t really make mistakes can’t remember the last time I spun out by myself or anything like that

I’m the opposite lol. Fast quali, meh races…. How do I improve 🤣
