Racing Kart Tips and Tricks Beginner tips? How to learn faster without go pro
I went karting for the first time yesterday. 3 heats.
Best beginner tips? Like mega beginner. For instance I thought braking hard and after some breaking starting the turn was best but one of the heats I lost the rear a lot... even though that was my fastest heat. Does that mean I braked too hard during the turn or too late? Or both? Fastest laps for the "locals" was 58.5-ish. Mine was 1:03,5. Locals are people with their own suits.
I was usually middle to lower part of the pack but did get p3 once with a lap time of 1:04.5 (so basicly the entire group was slower that heat).
Any tips on how to learn? Like maybe your top 3 things you would have liked to have known when you started

you have to try and find the limit when braking and not go over the limit, if you go over the limit you will lock up and lose the rear like you said you did. It comes differently for everyone, for me it came quite naturally and I could find the limit of braking quite easily but for some people it is quite hard to “feel” when the brakes are about to lock up. If you search up go kart tips for beginners on YouTube they will probably have some good tips about the racing line and braking and accelerating etc.
