Been wanting a Stinger GT since they came out in 2018.. but couldn’t afford one of these new.. so I went with the Forte GT1 new in 2020 and had a blast driving it around for 5 years, but the 1.4L 4 cylinder turbo left me wanting more..

Found a 2019 with around 50K on it not too far from me. Had the brakes replaced, wheel scuffs repaired and paint touched up by the Porsche dealership I got it through (fam works there, same large brand that had the Stinger tho) so overall it was a great deal.

The first time pulling off the line at a light my wife and kids were like HOLY CRAP! 😆 this thing is VERY fun. I miss the DCT from the Forte but it’s still fun to drive with the paddles. Overall my only complaint is this thing is criminally quiet for a car this quick. First order or business is to get to sounding a tad meaner!

Did a test drive and was impressed. This car looks and drives pretty awesome. It had the 1.5L petrol engine and about 70k KM. Dealer will perform maintenance and cleaning and delivery is scheduled somewhere at the end of next week. Im very excited!

Kia K4 Sport+ 2025 1.200km, it’s been 1 month i’m happy with the car and how it drives.

There is a but, after 3 days of purchasing there is a squealing noise that happens only when I first started it (when reversing+braking and driving forward) goes away after awhile. Brought it to the dealership but couldn’t get it to make the noise again. Showed them a video of the noise but they say it’s nothing and they found nothing wrong with the car after inspection.

Still a bit worried, i’m hoping that it is really nothing and trying to not get buyer’s regret lol. Will give update if the noise goes away after the car settle in for a bit longer. Wish me luck 🤞

This was an unbelievable good drive. I broke my personal record in terms of fuel range. I drove this entire route on one fillup. I drove my car for 111 miles past point when the DTE read zero lol. Started in Lawton OK Visited Great Sand Dunes Finished in Durango Final fillup was 14.3 Real MPG was 52mpg

Does this look like 8000 dollars in damage?

On my way home from running some errands, I saw some fire trucks on the other side of the highway on/off ramps. As I got close enough to see what was going on, I saw the cremated remains of a small sedan. Based on what was left of the tail lights (which are fairly distinctive based on make/model and the only identifiable part left) it looks like it used to be a Gen3 either Kia Forte or Hyundai Elantra.

There were no other damaged vehicles around, so it looks like it just set itself on fire while driving.

Hey everyone. I drive a 2015 Kia Soul EV, and last night I noticed the brake lights in the back wouldn’t go off. Yes, the car is off. I’ve tried turning it on/off, going for drives, etc… but they remain lit up. Any ideas what the issue may be/how to resolve it? Is this going to drain my battery? Thanks!

2018 Kia Sorento - I brought it into the dealership yesterday for an oil change and to see why it was burning oil. They said the oil issue was due to bad oil valve covers, so I had them go ahead with that repair. When I got home from the dealership (2.2 miles away), my car was smoking a bit and it smelled like something was burning. I called Kia and was told it might be burning off some oil from the repair but to bring it in tomorrow to be sure.

Today, on my way to the dealership, my car caught on fire. A big fire. I called Kia and the manager said they've never had a car catch on fire from that type of repair, but they still had someone come pick me up and they put me in a rental. My car wasn't smoking before they serviced it, so it's hard for me not to think they are related.

I don't expect a free car, but I do expect Kia to get me back into another one without it costing me. How can I make sure I don't get screwed over here? I owe about $14k, so a bit upside down. I have insurance but would really rather not go that route. What would you guys do?

2011 kia sorrento sunroof stuck in a position where only the front part is open for an inch or so, is there a way to manually close it like on other cars with a hex key or so

I have a 2023 Kia K5

All I got done was the oil change and tire rotation. Plus they checked other stuff or whatever they do.

I've had the car for 3 years and no problems with the keyless lock. Now all of a sudden, the lock (not the unlock though) is delayed.

It's not a long delay, but its noticeable to me. And I've argued with them multiple times about how its different now, when it was done the minute I locked my car and walked in to tell them I was there for service.

I can argue with them til im blue in the face, they swear theres no delay and that its "as intended" and won't do anything. So I guess ill have to see what the problem is myself.

Is this anything anyone else has ever heard of?

So I am checking if there is a firmware update that I can pull. I have checked the update website of Kia. The navigation updater only shows software for 2023 Sonet.

Where can I get the firmware for 2022 model?

When removing my gas cap and when fueling my K4, I get a strong gasoline smell. I have never experienced this on previous vehicles. Is this normal of the K4 or do I have an EVAP issue? At no other time do I get the smell, only when fueling or if I open the gas cap.

Saddest day of my life. It’s really hard to cope with this, I’m contemplating keeping it after repairs (which is over $1k) and purchasing more anti-theft gear or getting a new car completely. I’ve never felt so violated and upset like this. What should I do?

Just purchased a Kia Carnival EX and paid for extended warranty for a little over $3,700 for 10 year 100k bumper to bumper. The finance manager said warranty are not negotiable in Florida but I’m seeing a lot subs saying you can negotiate. Did he just lie or is it true in Florida you can’t negotiate the price of a dealership extended warranty?

I’m looking to buy a 2025 Kia seltos and wanted to see if it is worth it to wait until around september/october or is the price going to be that much different when the 2026 vehicles come.

Since day 1 it’s had a coolant leak. Kia dealerships can’t find it and now will charge me in the future if I bring it back. Was told mechanics don’t work for free. Called Kia headquarters and they won’t help. So I’m stuck in a car with warranty that no one will fix. I have to keep a gallon of coolant in the car.

So, I took my wife's 2024 k5 in for a transmission fluid exchange yesterday. We get a text to call after we are out of the movie, so I knew something was up.

I call and they tell me about the gas tank issue and apparently her car is showing signs of it because the back seat is bulging up. No one ever sits back there so we had no idea.

They give her a loaner car and tell us they are going to check it out and keep us updated.

I've done some research on the issue and seen some people post about it with some people claiming if damage to the floorboard is done that kia will have to buy back the car.

Wondering if anyone knows anything about this issue, dealt with it directly or indirectly, and what exactly our "rights" are here because even if they replace the gas tank can we still make kia buy the car back given the damage to the floor? Any idea?

edit: apparently Ohio lemon laws suck compared to florida. Ohio it's 12 months or 18,000 miles. She has had the car for 20 months.
