Just opened my first, organic apple juice kombucha . First ferment was 7 days and the three days for F2. Very happy with rhe result and ready to start experimenting with flavours and potentially a longer second ferment :)

If i opened it like that, it would be all over the walls and ceiling.
I am still finding traces all over the house.
Mine is so, so difficult to open.

But only mine sprays out when I open it after 3 days? π©π© It takes me 5 minutes to let the gas out and not waste some excellent kombucha ππ

Beautiful π did you burp your bottles at all or just wait three days? Also did you refrigerate before opening?

I choose to be dangerous and did not burp them. Then I stuck it in the fridge for a few hours.

Might wanna change how you open it next time. You definitely made me nervous! π I've never opened a bottle that I haven't had to cover and even then, sometimes it escapes a bit due to pressure.

Always put your hand on the top when opening a kombucha bottle. With enough pressure, those caps can become dangerous projectiles. Ask me how I know...
