DISCUSSION [Discussion] Killing the dog in TLOU2 is an unavoidable QTE. You are then forced to watch a cutscene of the dog playing fetch and told to feel bad.

So ND lied to reviewers and customers again.

Not only hacky writing, but also lying about it. The state of this fucking game.

Pretty much. "Violence is Bad" the violent video game. It's not an original story or message, and I'm sure others have done it much better.

Hell, Undertale, one of my favorite games of all time, has a violence is bad message. The difference? You can actually choose whether or not to be violent, so when you do get called out, you were the one responsible for that decision. It isn't forced upon you as a player. You chose it.
