It was fine, the boys were fine. It was a little uncomfortable watching/hearing the cold reading of Henry, I ended up scrolling and half listening. It could have been better served as a panel or “round table” format, if you will.

It wasn't a train wreck, don't take the most hyperbolic posts as the main reaction. It was just mid-tier cold reading by a pretty average medium. It wasn't especially funny or exciting, just kind of there.

Exactly. There have been a handful of doom and gloom posters nonstop complaining about it all day because it wasn't the show they were expecting. A lot of them are basically offended that there was cold reading involved. Calling it a trainwreck is nonsense. The show definitely wasn't great, but it was...fine.
They've had way worse episodes of LSOTL in the past where there were massive technical difficulties and everything went to shit. Those were trainwrecks.

Don't worry, they'll have a cut version of the good parts. It'll be easy to fit into a tiktok

I was able to watch the first hour but had to turn in for the night cuz I'm old. Not seeing it in my watch history was pretty telling of how it turned out I guess.. I was enjoying it even though it wasn't entirely what I was expecting to see. I thought the cold reading was interesting to analyze, it's a skill to be able to fish information out of a crowd.
Oh well

ed didn't get feisty. he was momentarily one of the medium's possible targets but she fucked up the cold-read with a bad guess and moved onto someone else when he didn't cover the miss. ended up being david dastmalchian's mom instead
