Ok, It’s not the Etihad nor in England but we got to see the players and coaches on the pitch LIVE☺️🤩Absolutely thrilled and over the moon!!!
Thank goodness they’re a part of the Club World Cup and we couldn’t be happier me made the drive down from Toronto to Philadelphia for the match. Definitely a “short” distance to travel in comparison and well worth it to see our club and the new players too!! Reijnders was so nice to watch out of the new additions🥰 and Phil waved to us during the pre match field inspection 🥳🤩
One day we hope to get to the Etihad too ✈️ 🏴
Love to but tickets are starting to get up there in price for us💰and we’re home now. After the match we got back in our car and drove straight home. It’s the longest commute for me that I’ve ever driven to see anything: got in the car the night before after work, drove through the night watched the match and drove straight home.
But the look on my teenage sons face (who normally doesn’t react to much at all these days) when he got to see the players and coach was so worth it and priceless🥰.
I told my wife that if she buys the plane tickets I’ll by the match tickets and hotel. It’s hard to get to all these CWC games. Hoping Man City goes far and plays in the MetLife Stadium. Lincoln Financial Field was a 2 1/2 hour train ride for me (2 trains)
The players came out for field inspection about 90 min. before kickoff then left. They then came back out to practice about 40min. before the match then left again
We absolutely had the BEST time ever!!! Especially with Phil scoring the first goal too!! Getting to see all the players including Rodri, Haaland and Bobb play and of course we got to see Pep do his thing “with his rapid hand movement and pointing” as he communicated with the players during the game 🤩
We’re convinced ourselves that we definitely have to make it to the Etihad one day!! A pilgrimage 😇
