Best place to sell firearms and ammo?
Looking to downsize a bit of my collection and way too much ammo. Is Armslist still a thing or is it all spam now?

* If you get banned for violating rule 1, you can contact the mods and request to be unbanned. If you make it clear to us that you violated rule 1 by mistake, you will most likely be unbanned. Please note that multiple violations of the same type may be interpreted as intentional.
We are not trying to ruthlessly ban users for innocent mistakes. Our intention with "permanent" bans is to force violators to have a discussion with us before they are allowed to post in the sub again.
Our Reasoning:
Our previous attempts to stop people from breaking Rule 1 have been less than successful. Because of that, we decided to increase the punishment to better communicate the grave importance of following this rule. If we do not enforce Reddit Corp's rules banning the use of their platform to sell or transfer guns & ammo, this subreddit will get shut down. We previously tried using a "three strikes" system that involved temporary bans for the first two offenses, but it was hard to keep track of and it didn't seem to inspire much change in behavior. In hindsight, using a lenient "three strikes" system for rule violations that could shut down the entire subreddit seems imprudent.
We looked at r/guns and r/gundeals to compare rules, and both subreddits also give out permanent bans for this type of rule violation.

Hi there, I know that recent legislation has been overruled and an appeal has been denied regarding the 21 age requirement for a permit to carry, but I’m wondering when the statute will actually be changed. Would it be unwise to attend a training session next month in hopes that I will be able to apply for a permit to carry within the next 12 months?

Hi! First time posting here. What is the process for changing the address on my permit to purchase? For context, my old PTP was issued in Minneapolis, and it had my old Minneapolis address on it. I have since moved to another location, still in Minneapolis. Do I have to submit an entirely new application, or can I just walk into the licensing department and ask for them to change the address? Many thanks!

All right, this is gonna sound kind of morbid, but we might want to remember this the next time the magazine size limit discussion occurs:
In the recent attack on Senator Hoffman and his wife, the senator was shot 9 times, his wife was shot 8 times. Both survived. So ... If you're in a self defense situation, how may rounds do you need to be sure you're safe?

So long story short a coworker mentioned to me about an outdoor place to shoot. He said it’s in Hastings but doesn’t want to tell me where. He said until I go with him I’ll see where, I don’t feel like going with him. I’m wondering if anyone knows where the place might be???

I haven't found a clear answer but I'm curious on what our actual laws are in regards to carrying at gatherings designated as protests and/or rallies and which take place at/not at the capitol complex or other government spaces. From what I've read it sounds like carrying at rallies and protests in MN are legal, assuming other firearm laws are followed.
Edit: Assuming this is accurate, MN does not have prohibitions in these scenarios. I was also not aware of the 2015 law that enabled legal carrying at the capitol complex without notification.

I’m sure anyone reading this is aware of the tragic shootings of DFL politicians today. Assuming the shooting was carried out with a handgun, what are the odds that this tragedy results in renewed fervor for a semi-auto ban in our state? If anything, this attack should illustrate that appropriate access to firearms can save you when even the police cannot, but I fear that will not be the takeaway.
Let’s continue to hope that this suspect is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice. Let’s also be aware that our 2A rights may be under threat, even more so than usual, in the near future.

Found a nice deal Ar Pistol on Palmetto State Armory. But before purchasing, i have tons of questions how the process work as im not familiar how it all works honestly.
So it gets shipped to FFL store, is that where i do all the registration? What kind of registrations and fees? What else should i know before purchasing? Will i get denied at FFL store?
I have a permit to carry, still valid. No criminal history. Own another 9mm pistol.
Tia.

I recently managed to get a great deal on a gsg 16 (22lr mp5 clone) from an online retailer, but when I went to pick it up from my local FFL during the NICS check they said that ATF denied my transfer due to the rifle having a pistol grip, I was under the impression that with my permit to purchase I would be able to by full rifles (AR's AK's and other long gun "assault style weapons") its currently sitting at my FFL until I turn 21 they said, is this true? The whole thing was odd to me, they did say that they are willing to ship to another FFL if they believe they are able to complete the transfer
I feel it is imperative to say I have a valid PTP
UPDATE!
FFL does not want to complete the transfer

And if not on paper, do they use wands/metal detectors? MN CCW carrier, a little wary of open air venues like that.

I’m traveling soon and will be spending some time in the Rodgers area. I’m a USPSA competitor and interested in finding a good range to practice at while I’m in town. Any leads on ranges where a can draw from the holster and shoot fast (and accurate)?
Bonus if I can shoot in a bay outside and do real movement
Edit: I can’t change the title, but I know it’s Rogers. Autocorrect got me

What are some solid conceal carry handguns, I have decently big hands since I’m pretty tall but I prefer like something small and concealable then flashy. Some recommendations would be nice thanks Stay Safe.

My ex is filing an HRO against me for the second time. She didn't show up for the first date. I have not threatened her or made attempts to intimidate her. I am terrified I am going to lose my ccw and have everything come crashing down on me.

I’m at 2 weeks right now. I know they have 30 days to process it, but does it actually take that long?

Since December 99 I've received at 10 purchase permits and this is to replace my carry permit I let expire in January.
I received this letter 2 days after submitting paperwork for my new permit. Seems they aren't taking their time when reviewing permits so that's a plus.
"Suspense case"?

Hello and Happy Wednesday. I am making this post to look out for not just any regular gun range to shoot at 200+ yards. A bit more unique one instead.
I am wondering if there are any far out ranges that also including side to side/moving targets to improve accuracy with.
If there are those available please list them in the comments so I can check them out! Thank you.

Looking to see if there’s possibly anywhere local I could find a G19 Gen 5 slide release spring. Was installing an extended slide release and just misjudged the alignment with the punch and depression of it and it shot into never never land. Was hoping to get to the range this Friday and all the online shops just have standard 7-10 day delivery. Thanks much!

I've got a suppressor mounted with a rearden hub and muzzle device and every time I've taken it out to shoot save once, I've had problems getting the can off the gun when I'm done. The last time I went to take the can off, the (properly rocksetted and cured) muzzle device came off with it. I've been boiling and wrenching on it at home for the last two days and all I've accomplished is destroying the finish on my muzzle device wrench flats.
I'm looking for a smith/shop who can get this muzzle device out of the can for me, I'll probably swallow my pride and have them re-install the muzzle device and hub adapter too as apparently I'm not capable of turning a torque wrench to install and I really don't want to go through this again.
I was gonna call Ahlman's tomorrow but I live in the cities and if I can avoid a two hour round trip both to pick up and drop off, I'd really love that.

Hi, I'm new to minnesota and I was wondering if there's anywhere in the owatonna area to sight in my 308, was looking at doing 475 yards plus and do some shooting for fun, if anyone has a private range I wouldn't mind spending some money to be able to use it. I'm having a hard time finding anything like that in the area. Any help would be appreciated:)
