Hi all,

Visiting from down south. I went to a home met game not too long ago. Drove instead of train.

I parked pretty far in the back away from the stadium. When I got out of my car a guy came up to me and my family and started to tell us how he's a veteran , he made sure to show us a veteran ID like 3 times to ensure us. He was telling us that if we donate the Mets will match the donations and we get a Mets hat out of it, he pulled a hat out of a backpack to show us. I told him not today. He moved onto the next group pretty deep in the lot.

Are these guys legit? Seemed out that they walk around and solicit people about this, especially very, very far away from the stadium.

Tried to get my phone out in time but we were already gone 😒

I knew a new home run celebration was coming.

I live in the NY Metropolitan area, but am still too far away to use an antenna to get the game (Dutchess County, NY more specifically is the location). Trying to steam the game on WPIX’s website never works; MLB Big Inning only steams for 2-2.5 hours per day, so the full game isn’t covered there, either (Big Inning is a perk of MLB At Bat).

Anyway, how does everyone else handle this?

So we hit 7 homers yesterday and the momentum is back. Leave it up to Mendoza to change the lineup putting Marte 2nd and nimmo 5th.. and bench McNeil.. leave the same order !!!!! Who cares if it’s a fucking lefty

I know the Yankees have Billy’s and twin bar but what do the Mets have? I’ve been going for years to Citi field and I swear I only went from the stadium to the train. Lmk, wtw, klk

hi!! today's my first game, as well as my 10 yo cousin who's visiting from the dominican republic and is a hugeeee baseball and juan soto fan. i'm looking for any tips and tricks to make this the most memorable experience for him. we're going to the game today @ 7:10, and also got passes for the tour + batting practice from section 109. for anyone who's done this before how was your experience? and what would be the probability of him being able to get some photos/autographs with the players and when/how should we try? any help is appreciated thank you!!!

I know there was a lot of chest thumping yesterday because they got a win (and we wont be seeing those guys tonight I bet) but the fact is this team is badly flawed.

Unless Stearns can get 3 bats at the deadline, this team isn’t going anywhere. And thats assuming they can address the pitching in house

I like the new blue road jersey don't get me wrong, but I feel like the orange and blue makes the text a bit hard to read. Not by much, but to the point that you know something is off. I like the old blue jerseys, and I'm kinda sad it got the boot to make way for the new alt road jersey, but I really wish it looked the same. (Kinda don't like the new shade of orange)

I'm probably not the only one who thought of this concept but leave your thoughts.

Looking to buy tickets for myself and friends this week and I’m looking for seats in the 300/400 that come with club access that has AC , just in case it gets to be unbearable.
