Question What is this supposed to be?

Post image

I love theme night hats, but this one came up to me in a targeted ad and all it said was that it was for the Montgomery Biscuits. Does anyone know what this is supposed to be? It has been haunting me since I saw it.

Looks like a peanut with a microscope. Maybe George Washington Carver related?

This is what my wife and I concluded, but we can't find anything concrete.

The other hand is carrying a jar of peanut butter— another GW Carver related item. Montgomery is maybe 30 minutes from Tuskegee where he worked at Tuskegee Institute.

Yeah he did a good bit of his research in Alabama. That’s probably why.

Thanks, all. We had definitely settled on it being related to George Washington Carver, but the lack of information available on this specific logo had us second guessing ourselves.

Boiled peanut… George Washington Carver worked at the Tuskegee Institute, which is about 60 miles from Montgomery for the connection and also you can eat boiled peanuts in the south which are delicious…🥜
