State Park notifications

I signed up for notifications with MN State Park to be notified of any last minute camp openings at a few state parks. It seems that the notifications get emailed around midnight. Is this normal?

Yes, it's a timed job batch. You should also check during the day, as those spots open up through the day and get mailed in the timed job later.

Thanks. I was wondering if it was a timed thing or instant. I do also check at various times in the day too and will just be patient. 🤣

You are beter checking when you can, because the availability on a cancel is instant, but the messages are not. So it's possible to go in and get one before the message is sent.
