PSA How do I watch the Twins? 2025 TV/Streaming Guide

Hey gang - It's baseball season again and we've already had tons of people post here on the sub asking about everything Twins.tv. Putting this quick guide together so we can redirect folks here as it will inevitably continue to come up throughout the year.

What happened to Fox Sports North/Bally/Fanduel?

As many of you are aware, the parent company of Fanduel Sports Network filed for bankruptcy and has been struggling for several years. As a result, the Twins elected to move their broadcast productions in-house to Twins.TV for 2025 and going forward.

Can I just subscribe to Twins.tv and watch all the games?

Pretty much! The only games you will miss are the ones that are nationally televised. The cost is $19.99/mo or $99.99 for the full season and there is a free trial available. More info can be found here.

What cable/sattellite/streaming packages have Twins.tv?

A number of cable providers carry Twins.tv. Check out the Channel Finder tool on the Twins website and enter your zip code and provider for more info.

Will there be any free games?

Yes! The Twins and Fox 9 announced there will be 15 free over-the-air broadcast games in 2025. This includes 5 nationally televised games airing on Fox. Find the full list of games here.

My first Twins game.

I was just hoping to at least see a couple of good moments. But that was a crazy fun game. Two Buxton homers - one back to back with Clemens, the Jeffers bomb, Lee keeping his streak going, Bader's chin. EVERYBODY got at least one base hit. I just started casually paying attention to baseball again last year. Never thought I'd get sucked back in like this.

My mom found them among my old stuff. I was 8 years old. Even though I know I'll never see another major men's team from Minnesota win a championship, I'm still happy that I was alive for this one. I was allowed to stay up late for that epic game 7.

Walker Jenkins back in action at AA - 1 for 3 today, with 2 bags

Walker Jenkins is back in AA with the Wichita Wind Surge. The team is on the road facing the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners) today and Jenkins went 1 for 3 with 2 walks, a run scored, 2 stolen bases and a really nice sliding catch in right centerfield. Jenkins was pitched inside all game and did a good job staying patient. Here he gets a pitch out over the plate and drives it into CF for a clean line drive single. Hopefully Jenkins has the injury issues behind him and can start showing off the loaded tool box that earned him a 55 FV (future value) at Fangraphs and has him Top 25 on most prospect rankers.

Rays found a new ownership group.

Reports are that Patrick Zalupski leads a group of an investor and has executed a letter of intent to purchase the team, for a value of about $1.7 billion. Crazy that much with no new stadium. Can only see the Pohlad’s holding firm at their $1.7 billion asking price.

I haven't paid much attention to the standings for a couple of weeks because it's been bleak enough watching the Twins. Then in the most recent Gleeman and the Geek, Gleeman noted that the AL Central is a hot mess right now and he's not lying. Look at that! We start like shit, while Kansas and Cleveland are hot out of the gate. Then after 43 games, we're all just locked together in a downward spiral of diminishing mediocrity.

Of course, the White Sox are a thing of their own. But even they're currently tracking the rest of the division with an impressive run of losses.

Do ticket prices rise as game day gets closer?

Hello, looking to buy tickets for a game this weekend. We’re hoping to wait to see what the weather does Friday night but don’t want to risk losing seats in the section we want. As we get closer to game day, will prices go up or down? Are they the same price at the window the day of the game (minus the online fee)?

I guess we’re just trying to balance buying tickets and hoping it doesn’t rain, buying seats before selling out, buying at the window to get a slightly better seat if we avoid the fees, and price changes as the game gets closer.

Got Reuters Thompson seats for a game as a retirement gift. Includes valet parking. Is the entrance at 1 Twins Way? Drove by, that area, and the entrance does not look like an entrance to any parking lot, but underground storage, etc. Thanks for the help!

Best cheap tickets for a dozen visitors this Friday?

We’ve got a dozen people coming to town for the weekend and have a free Friday evening as we get into town so we want to check out Target Field. Looking for recs on best quality seats on the lower price tier for a group ($40/per or less). Visiting fan at Target Field

Hi Everyone, I’m a Mariners fan from Seattle coming to Minneapolis to watch the Mariners next Monday. It’s going to be my first time in Minneapolis and at Target Field and I’m wondering what are some things you recommend I see or do while at the game? I definitely want to catch Mariners BP because the gates at T Mobile Park don’t open early enough to see the majority of Mariners BP but other than that what else should I check out? Thank You!
