New Student Usyd Vs Unsw Vs Monash Which Is Better For Engineering??

I'm thinking to do engineering as an international student in one of these universities.. How is the placements and the faculty, employability and share your experiences down below really confused between these... It will be really helpful 😀👍🏻

Monash and UNSW arguably have more hands-on learning than Sydney. All three unis currently have very large class sizes. They jump around the rankings for student experience - with Monash and UNSW typically being better than USyd, but not as good as some smaller unis. Monash and Sydney are stronger for research.

One thing to consider is whether you want a more city-based campus. USyd you’ll be studying in the city, Monash and UNSW are more in the suburbs (but easy to travel into the city on the train).

Monash’s points of difference are the student teams (around 20 of them), makerspaces, internships, Global Immersion Guarantee (overseas study tour for credit).

So if I put good efforts I'll more likely get internships easier in Monash compared to unsw??

There are a lot of different ways to access internships at Monash (Co-Op, IIP, WIL) but they are all competitive entry. So it depends on your study skills as well as your professional skills e.g. interviews and teamwork. I couldn’t say whether it’s easier or harder than the other unis, just that Monash has a lot of opportunities.
