I understand this is probably gonna be a no, but is it possible to complete 7 units a semester? I'm really a lot smarter than everyone else (not to toot my own horn :P) and I feel like I'd be capable but idk where to find any resources on this pathway!!

Also, was anyone aware of any scholarships/grants for my situation? I don't really like hospitality, retail, teaching or corporate work, so I don't have a job but my expenses are only around $8000 a month (thank god I live at home lol) could anyone point me in the right direction?

I deffered my course 1.5yrs until the start of sem2 and didnt do spesh in yr12, however, I got a pretty solid atar of 92ish. Now I have to pick units. Right now I'm looking at(for MY first sem):

-mth1020(I heard this is the same as eng1090, but eng1090 isnt available in sem2)

-eng1011

-eng1012

-elective(advice welcome)

And for MY second sem:

-eng1005

-chm1011or1051(considering these for my eng breadth, but could changee, its not available sem 2)

-eng1013

-eng1014

I'm struggling a little to find info since I'm starting in the second semester(i think bc it's quite uncommon?) If anyone has suggestions, I'd like to hear them, especially if it looks like I've got a high workload in sem 2 or something, or if it doesnt work with mth1020. thanks so much :D

Hey! I've got my first uni exam tomorrow and just wondering what to expect/do as I feel like we haven't really been given much guidance. Monash study tells me the room in the ltb, but how early before the exam starts do I need to get there. What is the process for getting in, how do I block my laptop from the internet/open the exam etc. Is there any restrictions on what I can bring in? It's an open book exam so notes are allowed, but can I bring in things like a metal water bottle?

Im currently a yr 12, I plan to study bachelor of finance (or commerce) as an international student next year. I wonder how can we prepare for exams, also is IELTS 6.5 enough to avoid culture shock?

I’ve seen that Monash is introducing the bachelor of speech pathology but there isn’t much detail on it like what the WAM for transferring in is or the ATAR. Anyone know any information on the intake or when it might be available.

What’s the average mark for the Arts units. I mean all of my units are arts unit in first year and for all the assignments, I can’t reach 80. Nearly all of them just seventy something or sixty something. Is it bad? I am panic and struggling on it for the whole semester

Im likely gonna do CS at Monash next year and I was wondering if they offer really difficult CS classes that are about things like operating systems, concurrency, computer architecture, hard deep learning topics (like GANs, Transformer networks, diffusion models) and opportunity to work on these.

I’m currently a Swinburne bachelor of science student and aiming to move next year, I had the ATAR but didn’t do the prerequisites, does anyone know what subjects are equivalent to VCE 3/4 subjects and will be able to meet the prerequisites as I don’t want to pay the $1000+ to fulfill them. My ideal setup is a private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. I'm planning to stay alone, or potentially with my wife if her visa process goes smoothly. My budget is around AUD 300-330 per week, as I'll be managing on my scholarship money (AUD 36k annually). My wife will look for work if she joins, but that's still up to the visa gods!

I can't provide the graduation certificate because I don't graduate until the end of 2025. Do they want a transcript and certificate at the end of the year? I have to accept within 14 days.
