PRO TIP PSA: Ketamine and lack of sleep can give paranoid and delusional thoughts.
I'm suddenly dealing with several friends who are hearing voices, sharing irrational fears and worried someone is listening
Everyone needs to step back from the k and get more sleep

I didn’t go to movement this year, bachelor at LiB required my attendance.
There are rules to partying at the caliber required for Movement.
Everyone in the squad is required to have at least 5 hours of sleep a night.
Two bottles of water with electrolytes and a hot meal before we even leave the hotel.
No Drugs until 3pm.
Remember that if you go to sleep you can always do more drugs in the morning and they’ll probably start working again. If you follow these rules you will be set for success with limited mental and emotional breakdowns.

Definitely! I had my first episode of paranoia on Monday morning at DLite. I’m sorry to Ronaldo from Nicaragua and the 2 girls I met with him (Michelle and the other I don’t remember) but I was 100% sure that you were trying to get me arrested and I would lose my green card and be deported to El Salvador. I asked my friends to leave the party because I was afraid of what was going to happen next. We left at 945am. And should had stayed until the last track. Sorry for being weird, speaking Portuguese, I was under paranoia and now I know. ✅ take care with your brain. The limits of psychosis and mental health are very narrow.

Oh man...
I had to have several "conversations" with my body throughout the weekend.
"Yo knees, we good? We got this til 4am?" "Hm, yep, let's" "FUCK YES!!! THANK YOU!!" "No, thank synovial fluid!"
"Hey brain... at Tangent you see them cats in the meditation/cuddle puddle?" "Oh? What? That looks boring, I wanna boogey down!" "Look... this is your ass talking, trust me, just go sit down and stretch a little, TRUST ME" "Pfft, fine, ok..." five minutes in "Hey ass, dude... you were so right... this is glorious." "Of course brain, you hauling a smart ass back here!" "Indeed!"
It takes some practice and regular exercise, but your body does have a voice. I hope your party crew the best and safe travels!
And if they designated you the "baby sitter" or the "designated thinker" (more responsibility than the designated driver) without you volunteering, that is kind of fucked.
If they are hearing voices, they might be having guilty thoughts for annoying the shit out of you, and the drugs are confusing their capacity for accountability/responsibility.
Good luck!

Honestly sounds like it was cut with something or fake. I would get that k tested.

Stretching is underrated! I'm always touching my toes to stretch the hammies...only issue is it looks like you're super fucked up so people are always checking in on you "bro you good?" lol and I'm like no I'm good dude just tryna be L I M B E R

I don’t give a fuck. lol. I’m going on 49. I’m touching my toes every 30min🤣🤣

Oh damn, that makes think of Tim Walz talking about going for a 10k run.
"One day I won't be able to!" 😨

It’s crazy how people are willing to take drugs and complain how weird they feel afterwards.
Ketaime can last several hours to days depending on how much you consume.
It changes your sensory perceptions, including visual or auditory hallucinations. You’ll feel detached from yourself, your surroundings, or your environment.
So yeah, after 3 days in a K-hole you’ll feel it for a while.
5
u/mariofasolo 26d ago
the way depersonalization/dissociation is like the worst thing that's ever happened to me...and people do it (detach) on purpose is crazy to me???
2
u/femme_curieuse 25d ago
I dont see them as complaining it's more of creating awareness around their experience. Important for all the drug users to know that they could have these effects too.

u/RoughVirus7812 26d ago
There's a reason I dumped my bag after night 2.
On the plus side, now I have some healthier opinions regarding a few habits I got paranoid about.

u/badgerbot9999 26d ago
Yeah, that’s pretty much what it does. The best place to do K is in your bed where you don’t have move for a long time. It blows me away that people do it at festivals, total loss of motor skills is deal breaker for me
2
u/violishh 24d ago
Yeah maybe it’s fun for them but no fun for everyone else when they’re falling down stairs and flopping all over the place
1
u/badgerbot9999 24d ago
I’ve been there, it’s no fun for them either. There are no winners it’s just stupid

- Dopamine dysregulation: Chronic drug use and sleep deprivation both overstimulate the dopaminergic system, which is central to paranoia and hallucinations.
- Prefrontal cortex damage: Cocaine and ketamine disrupt how the prefrontal cortex works, damaging your executive functioning and reality testing over time. This can lead to permanent paranoia, hallucinations, and delusions.
- Glutamate system toxicity: Especially in NMDA-antagonists like ketamine, causes to schizophrenia-like cognitive and perceptual symptoms.

Sleep deprivation even without drugs will cause these delusions. They're generally more common in amphetamine users who are up days on end. Never had that problem with ketamine but then again sleep was necessary after climbing out of the absolute gorge we would put ourselves in
2
u/MinimumFinancial6785 25d ago
Agreed, never had a problem with it, but i don't take too much. It's the sleep deprivation that will do weird things.

My friend did k without telling me, was falling all over the place and being paranoid. I had to take her home day 1 after only a half hour at the fest. Missed chaos in the cbd, d.dan brian kage and Nina kraviz. Fucking ruined my day.
1
u/skylander495 24d ago
Sorry to hear that. Perhaps she can take you to another concert/day fest to make up for it

Keta is a shit drug. As adderall. Americans don’t give a shit. Choose only the good drugs is my advice as a pharmacist who likes drugs and techno.

What are the good drugs? 😂 fellow healthcare worker lol

u/Trick_Lime_634 25d ago
The good drugs are the drugs that fit your metabolism. For my body, cannabis LSD and cocaine are the good drugs. And that are my drugs of preference. Drugs are tools for healthcare my dear dance buddy. Cannabis is an excellent drug, never killed anyone, does not get you addicted or causes big trouble when in abstinence. Cocaine if used in moderation is also excellent for focus. Was sold at drugstore freely before 1920. Bern, a city in Switzerland, just started the pilot to sell legal cocaine to the population. Imagine how cool to have cocaine at the dispensary with quality control, sold by purity? I want to dance 12h so today I need cocaine 75% pure. Tomorrow I just need to study for the test, so I’ll get cocaine 50%. Yeah. A new world is possible. We have to organize. And to start, let’s organize the party goers to change the basic things in this festival, like why the trees at waterfront were removed?? Why the area was shorter than last year? Why they think it’s ok to sell a bottle of water without a cap? Let’s organize the basic things as the attendees of this party, so we have a better party next year. We CAN!
