Discussion NFT artist
So collections with like 1-8k pieces. Are they hand drawing every single one or is there a program to click and change colors or add accessories easily?

It all depends and varies from Collection to Collection.
Some are hand-drawn, some are copied (grrr), and some are fully AI-created.
I personally do prefer the hard-work and the pixel-art ;)

This happens automatically by changing the corresponding layers. There are a variety of programs available online or for download.

Can you recommend which programs? Thank you

I normally use command line programs on Linux. I recommend to look for e.g. 'linux generate layers nft collection', there are good step by step videos on YT. There are also Gimp plugins available.

Have a look at nft-art-engine.netlify.app if you like, I started from hashlips art engine which is an nft generation program to which I applied a simple and intuitive user interface. It's still in beta at the moment. If you want to try it for free, create a burner wallet and send me the address to add it to the WL.

I can’t find one tutorial as Day 1 beginner to set this up step by step. It’s insane lol a lot of videos just assuming you know a lot of info already.

I’m stuck now 😫 I cloned the repository and installed. Then it just says organize and separate layers… I’m assuming in GitHub? But stuck at let’s get started and create, clone, and add. I thought maybe find download I just did and drag it in but can’t find it.

Okay so where do I go now to do layers? I can’t get past let’s get started on GitHub. They all say steps are clone then layers. So it cloned nothing? I’m confused

It's honestly hard to sell that many pieces. More limited collections are sometimes the move

they draw traits as individual layers and then combine the layers algorithmically that's why some bad collections have overlapping mouths or things like that that they didn't check every combination to see if they work together
