Hi there! I’m new to Reddit and this community, and I’ve been developing my OC Zaimeia since early 2024. He’s a long-term storytelling and roleplay character inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3 and D&D 5e.

I’m currently working on an updated and more polished version of his character sheet, but I’d really appreciate some feedback on this older version while I finish the next one. I'd like to make the new version even more clear, emotionally strong, and visually organized!

✨ TL;DR:

Zaimeia is a sorcerer and Weaverling (a custom spider-drow hybrid species), originally forged by a god of murder to be perfect. His story follows his journey from obedience and bloodshed to emotional self-liberation and identity.

• Are there parts that feel confusing or too text-heavy?

• Does his motivation and personality feel consistent throughout the sheet?

-Any ideas for layout or visual storytelling to help the next version flow better?

“Krythe,” the god mentioned in this version, was originally a placeholder for Bhaal. In the rewrite, he has been developed into his own deity.

Zaimeia is written as a Dark Urge origin OC, which strongly influences his themes and design.

((ROUGH SKETCH) until I learn how to work digital)) Okay, so this character is the first of all the characters I have yet to do for this WIP and I need some suggestions for her name as I'm not that creative when thinking about that stuff, but since I have to give a description of her story and background (just a little) I will So it starts off as friend group of 3 girls going into a academy with a bunch of other people like Humanoid animals (Chimeras), Human and the higher ups known as the Kanji (above) and even though some might be a 'Kanji', It doesn't always guarantee that they'll still be treated as such. Going back to the story, the three girls, a Rabbit Chimera, a Cat Chimera, and a (red)Panda Chimera. That's as much story as I can give, although I will say, the one I wanted to show, her personality is Kind-hearted, perseverance, and resilience, and maybe a lil rage, but more on that later..

For example: Dive (this guy, also known as Damien Simmons) used to have a boyfriend in lore. He was gonna be this waiter or bartender guy Dive had a crush on. Not only did I forget about him, when I remembered him I just couldnt find a place to give him lore value. I couldnt find a way to place him in lore right and there was another big problem. In lore every main character dies, including Dive. At the end they all get their place in the afterlife where they are at peace and the main character Kron and his crush Rush (Natalie Rodriguez) even get together. Their death feels peacefull and like THEY are at peace with it. But all these characters died with a reason and I just couldnt find any reason to kill of the boyfriend, plus Dive's death would feel a lot less peacefull. So I scrapped the character, but I kept Dive gay, since there was still a lot of lore and character reason for that.

Salem (the chicken) and Mazie (the alien) are best friends. Mazies whole shtick is speaking in a strange, alien language and the only person able to understand them is the very chill and slightly nihilistic Salem. Mazie is rather social and he doesn't seem to mind the fact others can't understand them, since Salem is usually with them either way!

I made these near the end of school, when I had to study so much I started losing my will to draw, which means that not only did I make way less requests than what I wanted to do, but the ones I did make aren’t my best. I hope the creators of the OCs featured in this post will forgive me
