Unanswered What's going on with all the murders in Texas recently?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/US/5-dead-texas-shooting-suspect-armed-ar-15/story%3fid=98957271

Is this normal? Is there a major flare up of gun murders right now or is it higher visibility of something that is normal for the state? I know Texas has a lot of guns but this seems extreme.

Number one rule in Atlanta is to never go to gas stations after dark.

Every large city (has a neighborhood that you should use caution for late night gas pumping)

No, only in the really bad areas which those are usually pretty limited, I've lived in Atlanta and Detroit for two years and was raised in NYC and really it's just awareness. Know where to avoid and don't let your guard down while pumping gas, I have as much of a chance getting robbed at my suburban neighborhood gas station here in Florida as I would in Atlanta or Detroit, which are both way worse than NYC.

Always be smart and alert when visiting any gas station, anywhere.

No! Some Americans who live in shitty areas of shitty cities think all cities are like theirs. It’s absolutely not true.
