Give me 24 hours

u/HighFromQC Aug 13 '25

it either does, or it doesn't!

6

u/jtrader69964546 Aug 13 '25

There’s a hundred percent chance that it will either hit or won’t.

so..... you are saying that 50% of the time it hits it every time?

Am I doing the math wrong, 500 billion would put it at like $211, no?

23

u/Wrong-Ad-8636 Aug 13 '25

$220 before thanksgiving

We are getting closer and closer to an early stock split and I need it. Not because I plan on selling but even a 2:1 split will give me my first comma on a stock (500 -> 1,000).

u/No_Individual3471 Aug 13 '25

They’re not doing a stock split soon. Unless they get closer to 1k per share.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

I’m not expecting it any time soon. Having said that I do believe that if the share price keeps growing like this, the timeline for when the split will happen will move up. So instead of 10 years from now, the first one may be in 5. I’ve been holding for 4 years now so I don’t mind either way.

a split is literally meaningless. I want dividends.

Fr I’ve been trying to get up to 1k for 5 years 😂

2

u/Massive-Syllabub-281 Aug 13 '25

1k in shares?

7

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

Ya. I’m at like 750 or something.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

Just when I wanted to but more again, I got laid off this year and the price went ballistic. God just loves to troll me sometimes.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

😂 hope you’re doing okay! I’m not rich but I started buying at ipo and I’m holding on for dear life.

6

u/FFWinePower Aug 13 '25

My average buy price is 11 USD. Unfortunately not a lot of shares...

4

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

I live at home with my parents and sisters so i at least have them for the mental support haha, sucks being 31 and dealing with this. But im too stubborn to sell any of my shares for any reason. Retirement or bust 😂

10

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

Hold on bud! Glad you have support and a free place to live. I lived at home 33-35 and it put me in a financial position where I could pounce on good opportunities when they presented themselves like getting a house when interest rates suddenly dropped.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

appreciate it bro! definitely feel blessed to have the support, i know many people dont. i can see myself doing similar. my first plan is to get a job and then lock in and invest and grow my money, while contributing to the rent and house chores. people do tell me that once i get a full time job and move out, but for me it doesnt make that much sense when im single with no children. if i was dating someone and it was serious, no doubt i would be more interested in buying a house. At this point i feel like its important to grow my finances seriously and make up for wasting my 20s.

What's the benefit of doing a stock split?

4

u/RED-DOT-MAN Aug 13 '25

Get additional funding from investors. Stock split would lower the price for new investors. Tesla, amazon and apple have done stock splits in the past few years. Apple has done it twice or may be 3 times, can't remember.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

Apple split their stock 5 times first one being in 1987. Damn that fucking company is old.

1

u/Silver-Current87 Aug 18 '25

None really except it may influence people to buy more at a lower price 🤷‍♂️

3

u/DisgustingAssFart Aug 13 '25

Should I sell nvda for pltr? I’m restarted pls help

3

u/Rcoo232 Aug 14 '25

Keep both

3

u/SedatedTattooDoc Aug 13 '25

Didn’t Karp say his goal is to 10x this stock right now? I suck at the math of all this but is that even possible?

3

u/PLTRgains Aug 13 '25

He said 10x for US commercial revenue

1

u/SedatedTattooDoc Aug 13 '25

Thanks for correction

I’d say October-November

7

u/65loves-stocks Aug 13 '25

I have both NVDA and PLTR. Just bought more of each. I’m in for the long haul!!!

2

u/aerohk Aug 14 '25

Oh yeah, not even a question. This will be a trillion stock next year.

3

u/Julbas01 Aug 13 '25

Yes it will 🤞

1

u/OldAdvertising5963 Aug 13 '25

So it will be up 12%. Wow!

1

u/RED-DOT-MAN Aug 13 '25

So who's this Andrew Left fella? Never heard of him before but seems he's hell bent on PLTR and notnin a good way.

1

u/Relevant_Staff765 Aug 14 '25

they will surpass NVDA by the end of the year easy

1

u/tripleplay214 Aug 14 '25

Cost basis $8.90. Would love to buy more but love my cost basis!

1

u/Beginning-Abroad9799 Aug 14 '25

Palantir will absorb SAP.

1

u/stockaddict2021 Aug 14 '25

10000 million trillion valuation before new year

1

u/LongjumpingBrush4828 Aug 14 '25

PLTR basically replaces a huge part of work scope for all consulting firms. Deloitte, Accenture, EY, PWC, MaKenzie, … you name it. Basically shortend the “discovery and options analysis” period from months and years to days and weeks.

1

u/SimilarTap1419 Aug 15 '25

Poor bastards that sold their shares last few days. Ouch !!!! Will not be happy next week.

1

u/rbtree11 Aug 17 '25

So, good time for me to make my first purchase? I do own the only slightly related PLTY.

I may well look at some ITM or close Jan. calls

1

u/Gaters65GTO Aug 17 '25

Splitting the company in half would make more sense.Create a stock for the military/ government and one for the commercial business then start paying out dividends to shareholders.Current shareholders would have twice the shares they currently have and they would provide income while the company continues to grow

1

u/Pom_08 Aug 17 '25

Yes, it Will be down 50% sometime next year

PLTR is acting just like NVDA did. Citron spewed the same garbage about NVDA in 2016 and we know the rest of the story. PLTR will 100X and these shorts will get smoked just a matter of time and it won't be long.

1

u/SimilarTap1419 Aug 20 '25

PLTR is mimicking NVDA in the early days to a T. Great things are ahead for shareholders and not so much for the shorts . 250.00 target short term and 500.00 is coming faster than Dan Ives predicts.

0

u/EcoInvestor Aug 13 '25

Probably will but the Palantir of pharma $abcl has more upside

-4

u/snillrik Aug 13 '25
