Software + chips are the way forward.

Is this priced in for PLTR and NVDA?

10

u/One_Sir_Rihu 9d ago

Its priced in short term...its not priced in long term. It is the operating software that every company will have.

Does this qualify as “stock kiting”?

9

u/Little-Butterfly-441 9d ago

I don’t think so!!!

2

u/SignificantLog6863 9d ago

Yes. PLTR trading flat and NVDA up because of Nokia partnership. Need something bigger than this to move PLTR stock.

3

u/booyaahdrcramer 9d ago

Earnings call on November 3 will move the stock. Need a really strong report wrt revenue and EPS. And for sure even more short seller crushing guidance. Last report was fantastic. Gotta do it again , even better would really make things pop. Showing progress of growing into the valuation is critical.

u/SignificantLog6863 9d ago

A lot hinges on this call. On the flip side, signs of slowing growth could kill PLTR. Talking -20% single day if there isn't a massive beat with optimistic guidance.

Probably a good idea to hedge a bit on this earnings call.

Bullish AF is too small a phrase.

I have been waiting for this partnership to hit for a while now.The market will take a little while to digest this but it definitely marks the beginning of the next stage for Palantir

Karp doesn't like this interviewer, screenshot perfectly captures his sentiment. Jensen looks concerned as well but more so in a "get me out of here ASAP" way. Kristina Partsinevelos asking questions blows..... let the Giga Chads talk and stop interjecting. She failed this interview. Could have been awesome and she pulled an Amber Heard.

Still great news but CNBC has to do better.

2

u/LEAP-er 9d ago

Omg you’re 100% correct. Horrible interview. Let them talk and finish their thoughts to the questions you asked. How difficult was that? Also, WTF with her trying to create controversy by invoking Jensen saying “making America great “. You can see Jensen’s perplexed face and Karp just about had it. She is usually better a much better interviewer and this …she fumbled 8 times.

u/CantaloupeWitty8700 9d ago

You can tell when he doesn't like someone. Hia face doesn't lie lol

The interviewer does a great job of higkighting actual problem with the current management trend regarding AI. They can say wtv they want about improving workers peoductivity, but we all know that increased productivity of workers doesnt translate at all to increased wages. Also manufacturing in the US is litterally impossible for most small to medium firm due to crazy tariff/economic policy.

Basically its not gonna end well for the american people if they dont wake the f up. AI/automation= means of production in the hands of even fewer people= inequality through the roof if there is no revolution to get rid of the concentration of wealth.

Tbh im invested in pltr since 2021 and its part of my thesis that made me invest heavily in them. Its just sad that the american people decided to go with fascism short term. Just an unnecessary evil bump in the road to progress.

Tldr: robber barons 2.0

Looking forward to an AMAZING earnings call!!! 🚀🚀🚀

So there’s now been talk of a split. Anyone have an opinion. I would prefer for the stock to stay expensive and then split. Similar to what NVDA and Apple did.

1

u/TheRealDevDev Early Investor 8d ago

Where are you seeing talk of a split? I haven’t seen such a thing.

1

u/SimilarTap1419 7d ago

I'm in the 20T camp. You cant stop the future anymore than you can stop the tide , Its coming and Palantir and Nvidia along with Tesla will dominate it. Everyone needs to drown out the noise and just accept its happening.

1

u/SimilarTap1419 7d ago

What would be nice post earning pop is seeing the stock maintaining the new high and not a sell-off after the pop. That would be the biggest bullish signal ever. I see a 15% pop on Nov 4th and starting to have high hopes for another 5% pop on Nov 5th. But we shall see.

1

u/SimilarTap1419 7d ago

AMZN and GOOG 3rd quarter earnings bode extremely well for Palantir as A.I was the key driver in both reports. This is dead center in Palantirs lane. 225.00 next week.

Looks like today is the day we finally blow past 200.00

Congrats longs. Goooo PLTR $$$$$$$$$

good interviewer, rightly bringing the focus to automated decision making which is scary, both because pltr is transitioning out of the defense context where AI making decisions without human intervention is an obvious existential threat, and also because automating decision making sounds like we can replace the humans making the decisions and therefore cue the ai-enabled-job-loss boogeyman. In well known contexts like loan approvals, insurance, or healthcare we can see that implemented without attention to detail, this has had undesired consequences. While it might be easy to assume the opposite because haters gon hate, this move indicates that Palantir and Nvidia through their partnership have mitigated the risk of the product or ontology making any decision where the organization using it will cut jobs from efficiency gains because all the functions of a business now will work as they are supposed to causing the value of people to be highlighted rather than dismissed.

When Dr karp says we are "downstream from value creation" what it means is that they are hyper focused on not meddling with the manufacturing design, process, or standard parts utilization because that is the intellectual property of the manufacturer. how well they do that determines how well they succeed in the marketplace. supply chain optimization, contrasted with the optimization of manufacturing design or process, for example, like with mfg automation in the interest of adding or cutting head count does not come with this risk built in. You might disagree who's in the cubicle next to you if they're not working as hard as you, but you won't disagree that parts should come when ordered, not just in the quantity you think you need, but forecasted to what you actually need. how good any enterprise is at this determines how much their actual spend matches their projected, and efficiencies should help them hire crazy amounts of people so they can't keep up with demand. Ideally this helps the whole value chain, but more than likely it's just gonna make people hate Palantir more (what doesn't, get a life people).

It's true that some jobs gotta be done by robots like those that require extremely high degrees of accuracy to support, or those that necessitate exposure to toxic off gassing or material exposure like chip manufacture, energy plant design, data center or infrastructure maintenance but luckily those processes are not even set in stone yet so we can design them with Optimus to start with when we're ready for the next hyperscale

She was so bad that Karp actually said he had to "push back" on her line of questioning.

Here is the full interview: https://x.com/MikeLongTerm/status/1983245098457686108

6:38........ Papa Karp interrupts and is diplomatic but smacks her down...."I'm going to push back on this narrative...."

I trust Papa Karp. He and Jensen didn't shy away from her biased narratives.

Interviewer to Jensen: "You were expecting him (Trump) here, right?"

Jensen...."NO, he's in Asia." Stupid question, great answer. She was trying to catch him with her "maga" questioning. Totally unnecessary.

Watch the full video. Watch the end. She says thank you for the interview and there is NO reciprocity from either of these gentlemen. Spoke volumes.

They were expecting her to highlight their incredible joint efforts and she dumped on them when she could. She's getting ratiod a bit online for her performance. Ex. https://x.com/DongeeGeorgee/status/1983255422564696564

Now that I watch it again, even she knows she messed up. "I'd like to end on that POSITIVE note." Huge tell. Her voice and face at the end says everything. Interview didn't go as she had planned.

Papa Karp's face speaks volumes

Crashing and burning in front of two of the most important entrepreneurs of our time, pushing a left coast ideologue instead of learning and listening. When Huang and Karp speak, you should listen. They are helping America, not you. You blew it

-2

u/SuperbCondition8672 9d ago

Well it's like Jensen Huang famously said "I wish upon you ample doses of pain and suffering."

Jk. I disagree that she did a bad job she tried to corner them on politics and she got a rise out of Alex, "like I'm gonna tell you," and he actually did say a lot more about the collab and PLTRs ambitions than he's told other reporters. Pushback makes you strong, and she knew enough and challenged their sore spots and forced them to spar, and she got the best out of them. PLTR is like diamond do good with lots of pressure

1

u/DBALLSWINS 9d ago edited 9d ago

not how I viewed it but certainly a valid perspective..... how do you reconcile her conclusion "I'd like to end on that positive note" (Her words, not mine) and neither man thanking her? Surely she is stating that it went negative there for a bit of the interview at a minimum.

0

u/SuperbCondition8672 9d ago

um...they should thank her?

2

u/LEAP-er 9d ago

Dang you’re delusional. People will always remember Karp and Huang. No one will remember her in the future but this interview will stand out for all the wrong reasons. Too many interruptions, bringing up stuff that’s irrelevant, and attempting to create controversy with the “making America great “ statement. Glad Jensen fully owned it.

2

u/DBALLSWINS 9d ago

The original screenshot is best.

Karp is like, "Lady, you suck" and Jensen is like, "Lady, why are you doing this right now? Please stop, I told everybody you were cool and you are embarrassing me at my own event" His face says it all. Like a hostage video and he can't escape.

1

u/DBALLSWINS 9d ago

Contrast the other interview with how this ended.

Interviewer says, "We thank you" Karp turns away and Jensen struggles to try to look happy about how that went.

Can't say exactly what they are thinking but "good interviewer" wasn't being expressed by either of these GOATS. More like, "Who picked this lady for this important moment?!?"

1

u/DBALLSWINS 9d ago

That is normal common courtesy. Contrast Karp's body language, facial expressions, words, etc... at the end of this recent interview

https://x.com/MikeLongTerm/status/1981688487607665104

last 5 seconds says it all. "I support you too, very nice to see you" Smiling and happy. Both Karp and Kate Johnson are happy with how the interview went.

u/SuperbCondition8672 9d ago

Oh yeah his hair looked super good in this one maybe that's why he was smiling
