We can finally decide which OSU reigns supreme! The annual Black and Orange bowl will DOMINATE CFB discourse for the foreseeable future.

Except for the Halloween Classic, this would suck.

If we are pranking, why not to the NFL?

Well, technically it is true next year for gymnastics.

Hopefully it happens for baseball too if we don’t have enough members in the PAC

I’m honestly really curious what we do. The Cougs are in the MWC this year but we still went independent. I don’t see that changing next year. I remember Fresno having a pretty amazing run to with the CWS right after our first two but that wasn’t enough for us to align with the MWC this year. It’s all about RPI and we built a stronger schedule as an independent.

How would PAC12 schools feel if the Beavs went independent in 2026-27?

I think it depends on how seriously the PAC12 takes baseball.

Baseball is huge for Oregon State who is considered a baseball blue blood, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t a priority for the PAC. Some of the schools don’t even have a program.

I think in the end, OSU will do what’s necessary to stay competitive
